Had a tuner in my 660 pretty sure it hurt it more then anything did something weird with the gear indicator lights made them not light up on the dash and it idle really weird just a thump thump thump took it off eventually looked at the valves all the stems were pitted exhaust side thinking detonation somehow

It'd running rich, that's a rich bog. If your turning the air screw out your leaning the mixture. Rejet the bike for your area.

3 years rode over 16,000 miles on my 17 kodiak 700 no issues

Ran my xr650l for ten years with Dynojet kit and fmf q4. It was killer, I often switched back to stock pipe for quiet rides or longer trips on street, it seemed jetted good with either muffler, my friends knew it was a powerful bike just riding with me. I agree Dave Mods suck.

How do you Dyno tune a bike? Serious question? You change the jets, test it on a dyno, then change the jets again, test it on a dyno, change the jets and so on? That can't be it as it would require taking the carb out all the time... right? Thanks.

Bought my banshee new 2006. Only problem I ever had was K&N paper filters. I run 2 stage uni pod filters and I just made the 1st video on how I clean and then the 2nd video on how I oil them and what oil I use and the clamps I use for the PWK 35's and the part number for the pods I use. I don't have any problems with fine dust getting through my filters.

The powerband pops up the front wheels in 4th. I love it. I miss my banshee in the worst way

The carburation setting you are trying to get just right may only be accomplished with a slightly different slide cutway. It's worth trying to richen the needles, say half adjustment with the washers.
