Fifth time on the bike and still riding like an absolute beginner. This is me trying to get up the practice stream on my Electric Motion Epure. And I nearly got to the top last time, honest I did.
Birds at the garden table feeder 21st January 2023. Big robin hogs the joint.

We put some extra feed out today as it was so cold and icy and the blue tits, great tits, blackbirds and robins all came for dinner. Until one big robin decided he wanted it all to himself.

Cyrusher XF690 electric mountain bike practising low speed figure of eight turns on the throttle
zhlédnutí 242Před 2 lety
Took my recently acquired Cyrusher XF690 folding electric mountain bike to a local park today to work on my low speed riding skills. I've bought this bike to play about on bumpy trails rather than long distance rides, and I'll be spending a lot of time standing on the pedals and using the throttle in a trials or enduro riding style. It's thirty years since I've ridden a trials bike, and five ye...

Searching for Heyhead Chapel at Manchester Airport

When the area now consumed by the sprawling Manchester Airport was just farms, fields and country lanes there was a Congregational chapel at Heyhead. Today I went to see what remains of it.

beautiful prayer and meditation!
do you have any pics of how it was after firing again?
I do somewhere, but to be honest it just looks the same with those glazes, only more vibrant.
Thank you I want to do somethIng Pollocky too and have been looking at various vids Toodlepip!
My neighbour George has fond memories of Split and others who rode for the Lions... He was a friend of Splits and used to play football in the back garden of his girlfriend house. The family had a big house in Stonebridge park... I think the Family's name was Pristins and they had a bakery company... Anyone else have any memories of them ? I had no idea that Split had such a chequered past which also included the girlfriend who would later become his wife... Split lived to a good old age of 96 though and lived in Spain as I recall
🤩 wow
What can I say I've never seen this quiz show before I'm really enjoying it. how come I've missed this. Will definitely be on the lookout for more episodes.
they made one series only and it was never repeated.

those squirrels are proper cheeky mate!
absolute solid method mate. keep up the good work lad!! wheyyy!
These are the things people need to know.
You should be able to go slower and make tighter turns? (I haven't ridden an ebike) In motorcycle trials you can go MUCH slower by keeping the chain tight by using the back brake. Edit: oops, I just saw you do trials 😄
Since i made that video i can now go a lot slower and turn tighter, just with practice. which is what i had hoped for. I can almost stop to turn now, and my ambition would be to be able to completely stop and balance, but the bike is quite top heavy so i'm finding that challenging.
@@Gracievision can I ask how long you've had the bike and if you've had any trouble with it? I'm thinking of getting one to help me get fitter and to get out more.
@@Steve-hp3wk june this year. no problems at all other than finding the appendages on the cross bar for foldig the bike can put your own appendages in danger hence the padding. with hindsight i wish add gone for the 800 as I think it would have a lower centre of gravity with the battery being lower, but i liked the look of this one and the full mudguards. but reliability wise and technically all fine. i have changed the bars to something wider with more bend though, just a personal preference.
@@Gracievision thanks, that's helpful. Are you doing trials riding it with it? Do you ride on the road at all? Sorry for the questions.. I'm really thinking of buying a Lankeleisi (virtually same bike) and trying to get long term owners' opinions. I'm just a little dubious about Chinese engineering, although I've heard nothing bad about these bikes yet
@@Steve-hp3wk i only ride on the road to get to where i want to ride off road. i set myself sections i want to ride, and see if i can do them better each time - no foot down, no stopping and best of all no falling off. the bike is a pretty solid lump of metal and i've got no issues with it.
Magnificent. A part of my heart will always belong to 'custer mouse'.
good idea and great to practice the slow manoeuvres. I need to do similar !
Yes, a great drill. I need to do similar. I remember doing it with a motorbike a few years ago. Muscle memory is right. Well worth your time, I'm sure.
Just got the deep’6’d" from my girlfriend. Fuck her, this song centers me back.
A hidden gem! Thank you for the instructive & thoughtfully presented video.
Actually it should be Outwood Lane, not Road. And in later years Woodhouse Lane was known as Woodhouse Road.
Really enjoyable and interesting video. You wouldn't even know it was there. Thanks for posting.
Muchas gracias. Muy tranquila!
'Tokyo Melody' always makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when I think back to my early years of watching the Ace's been a fan since the age of 7 back in 1976 ♣️🏁
So cute, we were watching the ducks and ducklings on Monday at Sale water park, but they weren’t as entertaining as these little chicks.
Thank you
Now on B B C ONE Wales, ''On your 'Quotation Marks', get set, go!''.
The gauges are a bit of a worry - never sure if an unusual reading is the gauge or a real issue. It seems a lot of owners reckon that 1 bar at tick-over when hot is fine. I think a lot of the problems with the temperature readings come from the temperature sender being right above the exhaust headers that cause it to heat up when you stop almost regardless of whether the fan is on or not. I'm planning to add a coolant level alarm to the header tank using a SEN0204 sensor and perhaps add a second temperature sensor to the right hand side of the radiator top tank as this stays cold if the thermostat fails to open. With those two I hope I can have reasonable confidence when its fully warmed up that I can give it the beans.
I couldn't quite make out what you were saying about the gearbox but I think it's going to be the Ford type 9 5-speed box (that is what mine has). It seems to get criticised for having too short a first gear and too long a fifth gear but I must say that for road use it seems ideal. The first seems plenty long enough when you are in a slow queue. The route seems all too familiar having worn a groove along it up to the point where you turn left at 3:57 and been along it up to the Bowden roundabout countless times.
i realised afterwards i was talking nonsense about it being the rover gearbox as this engine was used in the FWD rover 214 and the g/b wouldn't have been north-south like in the 7.
U should fit a mannaquin in passenger seat so looks like u talking to someone and are those ear 👂 warmers or are they for contacting air traffic control? But nice drive.
They are so I don't have to listen to myself.
Just put our 2005 1.4 "Classic" back on the road after an unconscionable 10 years SORN and with just 2400 miles on the clock (less probably as it was made in the era of the self incrementing odometer problem). Bare ali and green as per yours.
Maybe see you on the road some day.
@@Gracievision Yes - hope so. I used to have a business on Woodfield Rd in Altrincham about 20 years ago so know the area quite well.
A case of over the top presentation coupled with extremely dull content, perhaps?
Nice car!
awesome stuff priceless
I really needed this thank you!
Happy to help.
Sadly we lost our Gracie this week to old age, but she's given us eleven very loving and happy years.
They should hook up with Glenn and Ronan from Ireland and then musically it would be incredible...pure harmony..
i did this and still dropped a few crumbs, i think i’m just a failure to humanity and my parents.
Keep practicing. Make your family proud.

Take me to the breaking of a beautiful dawn Take me to the place where we come from Take me to the end so I can see the start There's only one way to mend a broken heart Take me to the place where I don't feel so small Take me where I don't need to stand so tall Take me to the edge so I can fall apart There's only one way to mend a broken heart Take me where love isn't up for sale Take me where our hearts are not so frail Take me where the fire still owns its spark There's only one way to mend a broken heart Teach me how to see when I close my eyes Teach me to forgive and to apologize Show me how to love in the darkest dark There's only one way to mend a broken heart Take me where the angels are close at hand Take me where the ocean meets the sky and the land Show me to the wisdom of the evening star There's only one way to mend a broken heart Take me to the place where I feel no shame Take me where the courage doesn't need a name Learning how to cry is the hardest part There's only one way to mend a broken heart
