I think one terminology is incorrectly mentioned in thia lecture that is bonus Tolerance. Actually bonus tolerance is not the difference between LMC and MMC. Its the differences between the MMC/LMC and the Actual dia of hole/shaft is manufactured.
This is just for calculation for max bonus, this to use in Tolerance stack up. So you are right but here We are doing worst case TSA

In last example slot for 1st part is 24+/-2 For 2nd part dim is 20+/-3 So, If 2nd part is produced at dim 23. Then interference will happen. Suppose we need clearance fit, 1) should we adjust our tolerance to 20+/-2 OR 2) Should we change slot width as 24+/-1 Please let me know 1st option or 2nd option is correct. Or else please correct me if my thought process is wrong Sir. Thank you

Thank you for the informative video. I have one query. As per ASME definition RC is worst case scenario, but you are telling its best case scenario. Could you please explain the difference between virtual and resultant condition in Layman terms for better understanding and to avoid confusion between VC and RC.

Rhe variances add as the sqrt of the sum of the squares of the variances... And variance can be assumed to be 1/6 of the range of each dimension/

How diameter 1.6 gets two side and summed up to 3.2 sir... It's not radius, right?
It is+-1.6 to add it to diameter we will add 3.6

It is inside boundary so should be substracted.
