@@AndiPirlogea do u keep any kind of soft cloth between screen and keyboard while the MacBook is closed to prevent the keyboard to touch the screen?

I haven’t tried the A55 sorry, apparently it’s a good phone but I personally like the design of Nothing over Samsung, so for me I wouldn’t choose the A55 even if it was better, after all it’s more expensive as well

Thanks for the comment! I would look at brands like Sony or Bose, they're more affordable than Apple and have pretty decent quality. Sonos are releasing their first headphones on June 5th, so that might be something to look at too, although not sure how affordable those are :)

Tbh it still holds pretty well! I’m not a heavy user but I usually charge them once a week. I think it still does 20h easily

I couldn’t agree more, I just purchased the Ear 2024 and the sound is very impressive. I am convinced these sound as good as the AirPod pro 2 if not better in some case. The bass adjustment is insane

The ANC on both of these is exactly the same, I’ve compared them on multiple occasions, street, train, washing dishes lol, they don’t cancel the high frequencies well but for anything like plane or train travel they’re absolutely amazing. This is something I completely forgot to mention in my video but the way I’ve tested the ANC on these was with no music , just the ANC on its own. It’s worth mentioning as soon as you play any song/podcast on them, even at the lowest volume, you almost won’t hear anything from outside.

I’m literally on the same page haha, the Ear (a) looks so much better all together in my opinion (also love the new yellow) but for indeed the sound on those is not the best :/ Have you tried any of them yet?

@@AndiPirlogea no I haven't, but I have the orginal Nothing ear (1).

My Ear 1's stem came apart here in hot SE Texas. I bought the Earfun Air Pro 3's w/ APTx, Qualcomm Chip, etc. Then I noticed in my S24 Ultra's Developer Options this wasn't available but when connected to the buds? These options turn on automatically. Surprised me. I'm thinking of grabbing the "A's" I hear they have more bass. I'm a bass head but mostly wear while watching movies

@@Mike_The_Hog_A_Nator Oh no, that's unfortunate and sorry to hear! Hopefully they improved those problems now, never heard anyone having their stem coming apart. Tbh the Ear has the same bass as EAR(a), the main difference is that EAR has that advanced EQ and the Personal Sound Profile which you don't get on EAR (a), and it give you so much more control over your EQ. There's also that bass enhance feature on both of them which brings in some really nice deep bass. I'd suggest to get the EAR if you want more clarity. But if you like flat sound EAR (a) does the job. Overall there's more detail and sound resolution on EAR, it's worth the extra $50 for sure but I don't think it matters for everyone, especially for movies! I wouldn't worry too much about APTx or other codecs tbh, the hardware is a lot more important, I've used both Nothing buds with AAC from an iPhone and they sound amazing.

Thanks for watching! I think the Nothing Ear is way better than AirPods 1st gen when it comes to sound, battery, ANC. The only thing they’re lacking is the transparency mode, that’s still better on AirPods 1st gen. But I actually went to their store again yesterday to talk about this and there’s an update next week that’ll fix this issue. If that does then they’ll be perfect. If transparency mode is not a big issue for you at the moment definitely give them a go, they’re super fun!

I agree the Nothing air are phenomenal, the sound is simply incredible once dialled on to your teste. The bass is special. Yes, the transparency isn’t the best but it’s usable

Haha, fair point! So they’re both really good imo, if you like a bit brighter sound get the Ear it also has that advanced EQ with personalised profile, if you like flatter sound overall then Ear (a) is your best choice.

It’s quite subjective, I personally like the Milk (white) one I show in the video, seems more trendy also something pretty new in a phone but the normal white (more transparent) is great too!

Actually when you’re in 50mp and set to 4x you’ll see it uses the second camera and not the main one if you put your finger in front of it, you’ll see it switches between the two. 50mp 1x & 2x uses the main senson and 50mp 4x & 5x uses the telephoto lens second sensor. This seems like they both do 50mp instead of cropping from the main sensor only. It’s strange this is not really explained, I also forgot to explain this in more detail lol. Indeed it’s a good phone. Thank you! I’d suggest to actually lower the treble on your eq at around 15kHz. These headphones are already pretty bright as standard.

I personally think the Nothing 2a is overall a better phone with a newer tech too considering Pixel 7a is a year old. It's also a matter of taste here as both phones look very different. I personally like the Nothing phone more compared to Pixel

@@AndiPirlogea thanks for your expertise! I think, I will also go for the nothing. Camera is (beside that nothing ringtones:)the only thing that makes me hesitate. Hope they can improve it via updates over time.

That’s true, the camera is the only thing they need to work on with future releases, not sure how much a software update will improve but they might be able to push it a little bit more, Pixel will always have a better camera probably, they’re really good at that, but comparing this with Pixel 7a’s camera is not a massive difference tbh! That's interesting! Mine didn't seem to be having that issue. Have you tried to reset them and reconnect? Maybe reinstall Bose app too, it's very buggy!

Pixel is a great phone too! I love their design and was actually thinking to review it but then Nothing 2a won me over as well :D

I was also thinking about buying pixel but than I found nothing watch and nothing 2a and I was sold.. I have them for almost a week And I am so happy with my decision
