Great review. Elastics usually have rubber threads that rot with use and humidity. It won't be difficult to have it replaced if it fails on you . Cheers!!!

As a person who has used the the Walther pdp pro sd in a competition the slide lock cut isn't a bad idea. The slide lock is so big in the heat of the moment I pressed down on it and caused me to hear a click instead of a bang. I haven't gotten in gun fights, but if you are about to shoot, and don't know your empty I'm guessing that would get you killed potentially if it's a carry or home defense this is a good point and should be recognized, also it could have been because I don't shoot it enough: but great video keep it up.

Have you tried the DPM recoil reduction springs? I they really work. I have them in all of my pistols now.

I really want to get a ZR Tactical guide rod and spring for my Full Size 5 inch PDP. I also saw a video where they say the 15 lb. spring will work for factory loads whether it’s 115, 124 or 147. But the thing is, I prefer to carry +p rounds for my defensive rounds. Either 124 Gold Dots or 12r HST’s. They recommend the 17 lb. for +p loads. The 15 lb. MAY work fine with +p but I figure why risk a malfunction in a self defense scenario when you need reliability the most. But even with the 17 lb. spring, it’s still lighter than stock. You may not get as much recoil reduction, but at least it!s a stainless steel guide rod. And metal is better! 😎

My PDP Compact is a fricken laser beam. I have added the ZR tactical 15# stainless steel guide rod/spring. Also added the Lok Grips Black cerakote brass back strap. It really balances the gun nicely. Considering buying the 4.6” threaded barrel and a Herrington Arms comp to flatten the shooting even more. Great gun right out of the box. Even better with a few tweaks.

Great video. I like the Vedder Holsters V3 gun belt and the Hunter Constantine Carry Belt. I like to carry the P30sk. My pinky does hang off the end and I’ve pinched myself reloading but I haven’t found a better pistol that offers better combination of concealability, shoot ability, and comfort.

hey man, if ur not goona run the leg strap, (i never have) you gotta pick up an UltiClip and attach it to the two holes on the face plate, its def a must. i keep its it in place and is the only way u can properly one hand draw under pressure

That's a ton of money. You can buy a basic looking oem Style slide like that with an rmr cut for about a hundred bucks. Save your Original.Just borrow the pots out of it.Stick 'em on the rmr slide And you're off.

Very informative video as always. I just sent back the Viktos Upscale 3 I ordered as well. I decided against the Upscale XL and opted for a 5.11 LV10 2.0 that was on clearance. I've run sling bags on and off for years but find I have a bad habit of overloading them. I'm looking forward to comparing the LV10 to my Vertx transit and older Maxpedition Kodiak

I seen this holster on friends and when I went on line to purchase the price almost doubled after adding on accessories and picking a nicer material I stopped the order process as I just don’t think it’s worth over $150 with the options I wanted.

The cr920p also comes with steel mags ..both my cr920 war poet and cr920p came with steel mags.

If you get a chance the SA Hellcat Pro Comp is very accurate reliable and controllable. I have owned all 3 guns. HC Pro comp eats everything.

Shadow systems actually does use different sized back straps for MR/XR/DR models but chose not to do that for CR for some reason. Wish they did though.

I still have trouble with jamming 17 rounds in my X macro and when I do it occasionally causes jams so I only EDC 16 plus one. My XR920P is fantastic and comes with multiple backstraps. Have the CR920XP on order and hope it comes out soon.

Good video. Someone brought up a good point in comments on another video. Theives are really good at unlatching quick release straps and running away with them, like in a large crowd. I dont really deal with that where I live, but I will be putting a bit of tape over that buckle..just in case.

Im working on getting a Sig p365x macro comp for the channel. Do you know if there are any companies that make a ported barrel for that gun? I feel like that would be an easy way to reduce muzzle rise even further and be competitive with the new Springfield offering.

Hey man, another good video as always. I just wanted to drop you a line, I know it's a little late, but... I have actually made a change as well. I'm a Glock fanboy, I will not lie. And I have struggled for a while between the compacts, subcompacts, and the micros, like the 43x. But a couple of weeks ago, in no small part based on your reviews, I decided to look at a PDP. They had a Father's Day sale going on the green frame with ameriglow optics, and after I played with it a little bit I couldn't resist. Good heavens, that trigger. I switched it over to left hand configuration, and while I'm not really 100% on the optics yet, at least I'm giving it a little bit of a try. I didn't feel the need to shorten up the slide release, the way my grip is I guess didn't hit it. I have big hands as well (I'm 6'3", 350, so I'm not a little fella). Anyway, my G19 and 26 are still my go-tos, but that may change as I get enough rounds through the Walther. I really do like it so far. But I guess part of my point is that, like you, I too am finding myself gravitating back upwards to the larger frames. God bless, and keep them coming!

Meh. I’ll stick with Tenicor or Trex Arms. Tier 1 is overpriced and the long a$$ lead time is unacceptable bs they just use as marketing to make it seem like they’re more popular than they really are.

Looking to get my 19x cut for a RMR, but I’m iffy on the cut being blued. Is it possible to cerakote the cut portion only? Would like something less prone to rusting while keeping the stock finish on the rest of the slide.
