The obly part I had trouble with kid Simba's levels were the logs. Im fairly sure that was the developers warning players they shouldn't proceed further, because adult Simba stages are pure garbage!

To all those talking about how difficult this game was... Battletoads.

This game was made "impossible" by design. When this game was released, video game and movie rentals were at an all time high. Knowing this, the developers decided to make this game "impossible" to beat during a single rental period. This forced the consumer to have to purchase the game with the understanding that it would be cheaper to just buy the game instead of having to rent it multiple times to beat it.

They could make that scene where Simba meets Nala. And... Becuz the makers all know. NO ONE WILL GET TO THAT SCENE!!!

I remember coming back to this game 20+ years later just to be stuck at level 2 AGAIN!!! 😩😩

Impressive.. I beat this when I was a teen and the Gameboy version. I never knew about the platform skipping or that you could just keep Simba far left on the stampede. I love the fact you just skipped through most of the lava stage.. which was the hardest part of the game for me

i beat this game as a kid but def not as fast lol. for me the stamped level was the hardest lol i wish i knew i could just stand to the left and beat it hahaha

depressing game design, especially for kids rarely even got through 2nd level

Asmongold's reaction to this brought me here. You absolutely crushed this game. Side note, but, I think both the visuals and soundtrack have aged really well. Not just for a movie tie-in, but for any video game in general.

Like I pretty much speed run as well. And I follow a computer which is a real bad ass pearl at speed running. And I do run where I collect one extra life. And that's it if I accidentally grab another extra life. I usually die. And actually my plan is. If I'm doing those kinds of runs where I only pick up one life. I will just take a real quick death on the hakuna matata level. So that way, I can pick up the extra life on the simba's destiny level.

At some point you might do speed runs. On difficult mode where you don't need to extend your health anymore.

I didn't really notice a little bit that it's the First run you ever done. I could probably tell A little bit because. You didn't get all the glitches to pull up.

CZcams has shown me so many endings to games I thought I never get a chance to see or even knew existed.
