Attempting A 30 Day Sun Salutation Challenge - The Lessons I Learned
I set out on a 30 day sun salutation challenge and it did not go as expected. Ultimately, I failed the challenge, but I did learn some pretty valuable lessons along the way so I decided to still post it. This video documents this journey and it talks about the lessons we can learn from failure. We also look into the deeper meaning behind the beautiful sequence of sun salutations (surya namaskar). This sequence is commonly found in vinyasa yoga classes but it is more than a physical challenge, it holds spiritual meaning. Hope you enjoy!

      I didn’t create this practice with that condition in mind so there may be some poses in this practice that might not be best for a diastasis recti. With that said, it is hard for me to give advice because it very much depends on the severity of your diastasis recti and on your core strength. I would highly recommend consulting with your doctor or with a physical therapist in person for more clarity.

    I tried this for the first time since ive had ocd syptoms for years hope this works out. I feel very stuck & exhausted literally cant go on with my daily life it triggers it exagerating to the point where I cant even get out of bed brush my teeth & face to eat, even when I shower thats why i procrastinate too much & is one of the reasons why i have very bad sleeping & eating schedules. Especially my hygene triggers my ocd a lot brushing my teeth and face takes me almost an hour & showering more than an hour. Now its getting worst to the point where its been affecting my eating schedules & even for sleep though it mostly worries me the time im always having my first food because of my ocd. My family has no idea of my ocd & think im lazy but they dont know the truth of my behaviour when its actually not because of being lazy its literally my ocd controlling over me & telling me always what to do to protect me from my instrusive obssesive thoughts its so draining. Procrastination is another syptom since we try to avoid doing what triggers our ocd which only makes it get worst, another reason why they think im lazy is because of that without having idea of my ocd since years. Thanks though for making this video ill try to listen every night before sleeping & hope this works

    I’ve done a lot of yoga over the years, and I really enjoyed this session. My only criticism is a technical one: it’s a little bit hard to hear your voice because of the mic you’re using-you sound far away. I only mention it because I found your oral descriptions of the postures really helpful. I try to avoid turning around all the time to face the screen and rely on verbal cues for adjustments. I found yours really helpful, but it was just a little bit hard to hear you because the mic is not great. Otherwise, terrific. Thank you.
