What’s the average set up time for a floor of this size?
Great product WA ballet and Harlequin worked together to development, as you can see this install took most of the day 6-8 hrs, each panel is wired together in rows, this could be done quicker but it needs to be done carefully if you have a wiring issue in the middle of the floor you need to pull up the surrounding panels to gain access, we discussed building a frame for the floor to be built on to gain access from underneath but your electrician will need a confined space ticket to access and this would raise the floor height. WA ballet uses the thermic floor outdoors for a whole month every year in Perth during a West Australian summer only a few kms from the ocean and it survives all the elements it is also utilised for touring.
How much are the surface floor rectangles featured in this video?
I just paid just over $1600 for a 3x2m one which I think is the size shown here.

The surface used by Melbourne City Ballet is Harlequin Studio although we also make a surface designed especially for street dance styles called Harlequin FreeStyle.
