Born in 1957 recently retired. I've never piloted or even flown in smaller aircraft. I'm mechanically / electrically inclined and enjoy learning how things work. I enjoy diving into the Theory of Operation. I've flown R/C many years fixed wing and rotor craft. R/C flying was beneficial in learning do's and dont's while flying aircraft. I recently got interested flying MSFS 2020 simulation aircraft. It was surprising how much my R/C flying knowledge has bled over to piloting instinct. For example applying full power and nose down or level flight to pick up airspeed before pulling back the yoke and stall. Roll, Crash, Burn.

msfs 2020 Fly By Wire FBW A32NX Cold and Dark narrated what not to do mostly. I forgot I had to set the flight level / altitude. Setup flight with Sim Brief. My passengers spit on me as they were getting off the jet. I don't blame them. I was fired from the airline for my inept performance. If it could of gone wrong it did.

WOW, this is amazing!
I was going this route but I got into VR and I simply can't fly 2D anymore. I have the whole Logitech stack but I don't use it anymore, I just use the avionics and instruments with VR controllers with my Yoke or stick depending on what I am flying with the throttle for the most realistic experience possible.

@@robertditz The mod for the Twin Beech. I found the Carenado base model is very Carenado... I heard there is a mod for it. If so what do you think of it? I am feeling more comfortable in the DC-3 with time. I'm ready to take her across the pond and see how she looks in Olive Drab.

@@robertditz me too! I have been flying around in the Caribou and getting up to speed in the DC-3. Been thinking taking the old gals to England for some nostalgic visits to some of the smaller airfields with links to WW2. I even dusted off the old twin beech for the tour
