You do amazing work - keep it up!
Great video thank you - curious as to what the outcome was with the Moët & Chandon in your parents garage ?
Even living in France, this is expensive but very expressive and cheerful wine.Cheers!
This is VERY useful, thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Happy to help! Cheers!
Drank lots of home-made when I was there in 1999. Fantastic - no hangover, no matter how much I put down. Mukuzani is my favourite. Shame there isn't more in the shops at a sensible price.
Part of my family lives there. A red 'Karl Pfaffmann' always tickles my tastebuds in a very satisfactory way. Good video, thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the tip. It's always great to get recommendations.
It's very useful and knowledgeable for exam preparation, thank you very much.
You are most welcome. Good luck with your exams!
Jimmy ты лучший ведущий кпнала про вино🤘
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Looooove these videos on grape varietals. Well structured and insightful. Thank you Jimmy!
Glad you like them! We've got a few more coming over the next week or two
You sounded quite excited about these wines, Jimmy.
It's the excitement of wine. There are always new wines to discover and enjoy.
Is this a Series for WSET Level4 ?
Hello - it is not a series for L4, but rather an in-depth view of Romagna for all, but would be very useful for people studying Wine Scholar Guild or Master of Wine certifications
Love all Italian wines 💛🍾🍷
Nice to have met you there, Jimmy!
Wonderful…. Have you had time to visit Modena? Any Lambrusco?
I'm currently growing a Rkatsiteli vine in the south of the US and plan on making wine with the results.
Amazing! Let me know how it goes!

Jimmy, I had the exam for Level 4 today. This video helped me so much in explaining the climate around the Finger Lakes. You are a great teacher. Thank you.
Congratulations on sitting the exam :) and thanks for your very kind words. Cheers!
Please pronounce “Rioha” not “Rioka” , people need to learn the right pronunciation of key words like Rioja, Albariño, Cariñena
In Latin Spanish you are correct, but Basque pronounce (which Rioja lies partly in) with a harder 'k' - as with many European languages it is important to remember that there are multiple dialects.
I like to watch your videos you explain deeply and nice. thank you so much Jimmy.
Thank you!
Very interesting. I was already enjoying your online content, but this is the good stuff. Love that you are digging into the nitty-gritty of viticulture. And thank you for making a certain portion of your curriculum available on CZcams. Your work is much appreciated!
I appreciate that, thank you!
The way I'm singing about Burgundy from this video oh my goodness 😍😍 this is super clear 👌👌👌
Woohoo! Cheers!
Veneto wine: quality & quantity ❤ ~12 million hl
Nice! TY!!!
Val Poli Cella actually means: Valley Of Many Rivers.
Wow, fantastic content! I love your use of Google Earth to zero in on the territory, as well as your discussion of how geography and soil composition affects the flavour of the wine. Very interesting and useful. I will definitely be visiting your channel library. Grazie mille, Professore!
Thanks for your kind comments! You're welcome!
Blank Canvas/Dog Point/Seresin/Greywacke/TWR anytime any vintage, Cloudy Te Koko/2 Rivers/Lawsons Reserve/Framingham and more occasionally. Hidden gems: Mahi, Clark Est, Catalina and Out to Lunch SavBlanc.
Absolutely - all good calls! Love Framingham!
Thanks for the video 👏
Love your videos!
Thanks!
As a cellar hand in Prince Edward County Ontario with Closson Chase winery , I have to say I am so excited you are hosting this tasting! Enjoy the great wines we have to offer! When you come out my way next time, please make sure to let me know, we would be happy to host you for a tasting!
For sure! Thank you and hopefully see you for a tasting!
How many times use this method egg white for fining process
Hi there! Are you asking if this is a popular choice for fining? Egg whites are a more traditional fining option, but gentle, and still commonly used in commercial wineries all over the world for treating particularly tannic reds.
Perfecta explicación. Enhorabuena
❤
As far as I know the grape is not "native" to the Canary Islands, but likely brought to the islands by the castillans after the conquest.
Very helpful and informative
Thank you!
I am studying for my Level 4 D3 exam right now and used this for a review. This explained the overview of the Loire better than all of my books (3 and 4). Thank you so much, Jimmy, for making this easy to understand!
So pleased to hear it helped! Cheers!
I really, really appreciate your lecture about how to distinguish sweetness in the wine. I learend exact standard! May I ask you something about sweetness? When I have tasted the wine from a very hot region: California; South East Australia, represented a low-cost wine region, I usually felt that wines are a little bit sweet. In that case, can I evaluate the sweetness as an off-dry? Actually I got WSET LV.3 and I read the sweetness part on the level 3 textbook,page.5. But I cannot sure myself 😢 Please I request your help politely. 🙏
Hi there! This is a good observation. I would suggest that with wines from the warmer regions you mention, you might be percieving higher alcohol levels as sugar. Alcohol at higher concentrations in wine can give the impression of sweetness, even when the wine style is dry.
@@WineWithJimmy Thank you so much to your good answer. It's very helpful for me. :)

This is the way
Ah yes! Thank you!
Hello from Hungary, Jimmy! I am hosting a Malbec tasting today, this is very helpful! Keep up and thank you so much!😊
Sounds great!
Nicely done! My only issue with the presentation is that North Fork soils are predominantly composed of loam soils with smaller amounts of sandy gravelly loam. The major soil type on the North Fork is Haven Loam - a balanced mix of sand, silt, and clay in more or less equal proportions. Cheers!
Had a splendid visit in the Dourakis Vineyard and drank a Kotsifali/Syrah blend there. Interesting stuff. The indigenous population in the more rural areas will all have white grape vines in their garden, but don't make wine out of it. To use it for white wine is supposed to be a "waste of wonderful Raki" (the famous hard liqour made of grapes) Very nice and welcoming folks. So the planted area might very well be much higher than the 7.680 hectars
Great content as always Jimmy! Thank you for your service!
Much appreciated - cheers!
