This is another video I made in the mid nineties when I was just starting out. This video shows my early fascination with in-camera motion effects, something which I still play around with a lot today. A fine and rousing rendition of one of our most beautiful Scottish folk songs. Casting my mind back to seeing The Silencers in 1988 at the Textile College in Galashiels. The audience was small, and the 'stage' was about a foot high. My mates and I (we'd driven down from Edinburgh on a midweek night as I remember) were right in front of the band. What a great night we had. Danced and sang the nicht awa!
