While the league of super evil is ugly and lame, Nerd Corps Entertainment shows made up a big part of my childhood. Dragon Booster, Slugterra, 5 battle hot wheels or whatever it was called, and Max Steel were peak animation with hot guys and fun stories and interesting sci-fi anf magic systems.

Okay so I decided to watch (okay, more like skimming through it, there are 104 episodes and I do not have the patience for that) this show because of the first half of this video. I loved Raf and Sulfus, they're just so cute together. Sulfus is definitely my favourite character, although for some reason my favourite episodes are just the ones where he gets hurt lol. I'm just depressed that there's no season 3, I needed more,, welp, off to AO3 I go!

I never understood that idea of saying magical girl cartoon are ripoff of winx club like winx club invented the genre. Spoiler any magical girl cartoon was inspired by Japan Mahou Shoujo genre so by this logic, any Magical girl cartoon are a ripoff of Japanese anime.

Hey, Usasana, I'm keeping this really short, the reason Mattel ended EAH was because Disney cancelled a major contract with them over the EAH/Descendants debacle, even though Mattel didn't have anything in their contracts preventing them from making EAH. Disney could take any potential monetary fallout from ending the contracts, but they hurt Mattel by ending the longstanding contracts and going with Hasboro (iirc, it was hasboro they swapped to for the specific thing) the descendants dolls were also cheaper made while EAH was full BJD so they really hit mattel in the wallet with that. They could not afford to fight disney about this.

I actually loved all of them and i grow up on all of this... i didn't much loved barbie because it really made my teen years to be with a lot of problems... but i do think that you need to give everything a chance and not judge it like everything is the same.... i think that the story it's the thing that count

It's not a ripoff, it's just a genre called mahou shoujo or in English: magical girls. Can you stop pitting these incredible shows against each other. Each series has different plot and characters.

Its not the ripoffs its style , aesthetic and the overall designs that’s unappealing heck even the animations gives me shudders and roll of the uncanny hill .

Animation for girls or not, as a man, I can safely say Winx is fun as hell to rewatch. Sure, there's some dub problems, there's some funky animation, some plot holes. But I always come back to this show and I can never overstate how iconic all the Winx are to me, from seasons 1-3 respectively (considering I only watched up to season 4 and never really started season 5). I know it's the safest choice ever, but Bloom is so goddamn cool. I wish the new reboot will be good enough to boost the brand.

Onyx is the reason I grew up interested in being goth. And also a little bit bisexual or pansexual. Now, I'm goth and I'm both in love and terrified of women in general. They're so pretty that they genuinely scare me. I wish we had more than one season of this show. I was obsessed as a kid.

I love this version so much, definitely prefer this one over TV show, the characters so colorful and their chemistry way more entertaining in the comics. They recently found 12 chapter and I'm glad people after all these years somewhat pay attention to the comic version.

I remember watching this on nickelodoen back on the day, actually i enjoyed i little underrated. It's kind of obvious the producers of the show took a lot of influence from winx

There's one episode of Trollz that sticks with me and I was questioning what happened before that. From what I can gather, all the girls except Ruby ate these cookies from Simon. All of them woke up with their mouths feeling awful, and then they slowly started becoming evil and selfish under the influence of the cookies. At the start, they were admonishing Ruby for dangerous driving, but then they started acting worse than her and Ruby thought it was all her fault for being a bad influence. Not sure how they snapped out of it eventually, but I know it happened as some point. Anyway, my point was, I didn't know if the cookies had been referenced in an earlier episode or not, whether the audience knew what would happen to the girls and why Ruby didn't eat any of them.

W.i.t.c.h started before winx club (the first magazine was released 2001), so that definitely has no reason to be accused of being a ripoff of winx club
