Well thats annoying that its actually pressed in. I want to take my old one apart to see how it failed internally just for fun but thats annoying if you got to do that.

Hope & pray all is well with you. If I may make some suggestions, remove engine oil cap from engine first to help oil drain easier, try using a funnel to avoid splashes and drips which can cause oil burn smoke. Wearing Gloves would help your grip, bigger oil collection pan may avoid spills, wipe up any spills with damp rag. Other than that Your all GOOD :-)

A useful video! This is similar to the right-hand drive UK Kia Rio CRDi. -except that the front passenger door is on the opposite side. Instead of adding a piece of paper it's better to bend the moving contacts down a bit and clean the surface of the contacts of course. That worked for me.

Can you specify which kind of oil filter you got for the kia rio? 26300-...?

Removing the entire assembly is definitely the way to go. The turn indicator is impossible otherwise so this is good practice.

bro honestly. heres beater theory: drive it until the wheels fall off, do what you can but dont spend too much find a way to put a mirror on it, otherwise if it runs fine it should provide like 30k more miles of service with good maintenance

My memory was not serving me well and it looked like the Toyota Dealership Parts Counter did not give me the correct Oil Filter for my daughter’s 2002 Camry LE 2.4 L. But, your video did help me see that they did sell me the correct one. Thanks.
