GHS Thin Core Phosphor Bronze acoustic guitar strings combine low tension, superior playability with balanced tone! Wound over a round core, these strings bring a warm tone to your guitar, with plenty of clarity and definition. The low tension (due to the smaller core diameter) is a joy under the fingers, and perfect for those guitars where tension can be a concern. These strings are easy to pl...

Show them on an acoustic bass…
Hi. Could GHS please issue packs of plain & wound strings separately? People mostly buy a new set because they break a plain string, often while the rest are still relatively new. I have a shoebox full of (good or new) wound strings... and judging by separates sold on eBay, I'm not the only one. If I buy 6 separate plain strings, it works at twice what I'd pay for a set, which is crazy because plain strings are cheaper in terms of steel & manufacturing. I'd be happy to still pay for 6 or more, especially if there's, say, 4 E$, a B$, & a G$ (or even 2 of each, which you could actually market as 'Nashville' sets). Surely it would be better for the environment also, because so many end up in landfill. Personally, I actually prefer to keep wound strings on longer because new ones are a bit too 'zingy' (the same reason people find older bass strings acceptable). Thanks.
Love you Dan donegan
That was one of the most worthless demos I have ever seen. Just my opinion.
Half-round is supposed to be reffering to the ground-wound, that start round and get one side ground off. Both are nice in their own way, pressure are more like a round with some of the high edge taken off, the groundwound have a bit of the flat sound combined with a bit of the round

Do you have a 4-string and feel like you want to play 5-string? Fear not! Just use these BEAD strings and get that sweet 5-string tone without the hassle of getting more gear!
I put these on my Schecter Omen Extreme-4, and my goodness what a great set of strings. They feel so weirdly good. The only strings I'm using from now on.
Nice demo but here's the problem...I have no idea what an Airline Map bass is supposed to sound like with ANY kind of string. I would have liked to hear these on something a little more familiar like a Jazz or a Precision bass.
These sound amazing Im thinking of getting ones for some og metal like Sabbath.
How much more ridged is the texture compared to a traditional flatwound?
What gauge strings are theses set of flats?
0:38 top 0:58 0:18 thru 1:11
Pretty snappy set up for strings. My question is please. How do I order the light floura carbo uke strings for my concert and tenor ukes.
Van! ❤
Nice 🎉
THE BACKGROUND MUSIC.. I WOULD APPLY THIS TO THE "SOUNDTRACK OF MY LIFE"..ONE CHAPTER OF IT ANY WAY.. I LOVE ❤️ THIS VIDEO..
The best tapewound strings.... period!
they sound really bright, not what im looking for in a flatwound
Did GHS solve the rust problem already? I've been playing Boomers for decades, and usually bought the Custom Light (GBCL, 09-46) in bulk. Unfortunately, although they're "MADE IN THE USA", wrapped individually, and packed in an airtight "Fresh Pack" (TM), the unwound strings are all heavily corroded with some black tarnish... This applies to the GBCL sets but also the GBTNT (10-52) and 7string sets I have. That's a LOT of money wasted, gone down the drain, because those corroded strings are simply unplayable. I sent an email asking about this, but no response whatsoever. Since some time I only buy from Pyramid, based in Germany. No issues yet, neither on their stainless steel strings (which are awesome!!) and regular nickel ones... But I quite liked the available gauges and longevity of GHS strings - well, at least, when they didn't come completely rusted out of a fresh package...

Tried just about everything out there and always come back to Boomers
Just wanna say: I had my fast fret since 2010, still in the brown plastic tube, and with the wood handle (please bring back the wood handle :c) , i've used it almost every day, and stored it right away each time. It still works, somehow is still moist. Also i like to not wipe it off, i just do "wax no, no wax off" i'm wondering if i can buy a new one, detach the "head" and glue it to the old wood handle :P
can i use these strings on a 20 fret bass guitar? I´m thinking trying drop B tuning

are these titanium strings low tension? I'm a little confused why you would say low tension, when I look a the gauge I can find different strings with a lighter tension. Yet you say these are low tension.
Hi everyone. Can i apply this product on a maple fingerboard ?
The best sounding guitar strings ever!
I'm viewing this after ordering a set for my SR506. I am glad I ordered 2 pair ❤
Dave is the man, the president of the Nashville musician union! Met him February 2023, cool dude
Put these on my Maton. Switching back to acoustic was hard as I play electrics 95% of the time or more. These in 11s have been amazing!
been using them on acoustic and electric since the early eighties only brand I buy
This guy is fantastic!
The background, loud chording is distracting.
I loved your songs! As a Turk, I wish I met you and listen songs in both language.
I guessed wrong 4 out of 5, thinking the Top Load was the String-Through. I have a Sire P7 ( most Sire basses have the option as the Lakland does to top load or string-through), and personally (this is key) I like the string-through mainly because it 'feels' like less tension on the neck and strings...that's my main reason for using string-though as opposed to tone...I'm not so sure the difference is audible to 95% of folks listening...it's probably me, but I really can't hear the difference as much feel it. Interesting video.
Great advice regarding maintenance!
Those round wound thicker gauge strings still sound good.
Because of this video, I picked up a set. I'll post my feedback after I have a chance to play them.
THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT ONE~1~OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE VIDEO'S EVER UPLOADED ON TO CZcams... VERY INFORMATIVE VIDEO 📹..
I hope the flatwound thick gauge strings would come out soon. Those roundwound strings sound good, too.
Hi Edwin, we don't have a lot of demand for a packaged set of BEAD tuned Precision Flats. That said, you can put a set together by getting the 65-85-105-128 in singles. You can actually do that with all of our bass sets, so you're not limited to just these that are packaged together.
Raising my hand for the flatwounds.
I go for Precision Flats on a short scale with a pick. It is a very distinct sound, and goes perfectly with my style of playing.
That's a great, vintage sound with just enough attack and definition. Nice choice! I rely on that as well, when the gig calls for it.
That bass with those strings sound great With that said Angi is an incredible musician, the way she seems to effortlessly plays it with the joy she has is infectious
seems bassists have forgotten leo's original designs were done to create the world's loudest up right bass w/ more note "precision" and ease of transport...simply install flat wounds of choice and put the original bridge mute cover on and pluck sideways over or near the neck.; voila.
While true, his original design was also 70+ years ago. There are more options now that deserve some consideration instead of just pointing back to a vintage concept that even Leo moved away from.
That's pretty dope
Van.
Gosh, this is almost worthless to me. I wanted to hear how these strings sounded acoustically. I guess I will keep looking.
you'd think that for a product whos main purpose is to remain moist, you'd figure out how to make a cap that snaps on tightly to the applicator rather than that thing you got now that barely stays on and falls off while the bottle is rattling around in the case
