Yaquina Head Lighthouse
Yaquina Head is a rocky headland located just north of Newport, Oregon. It has nearly two miles of rocky intertidal habitat at low tide. It is protected from collecting, which provides a refuge for many animals.
Yaquina Head is considered to be one of the most beautifull and accessible wildlife and ocean viewing locations of the Pacific Coast.
Besides for the tide pools, one of the main attractions to the site is the lighthouse overlooking the water.
Beyond the Yaquina Head Lighthouse are two impressive tide pool areas: Quarry Cove and Cobble Beach.

Great White shark in the waters off of Dana Point, California

We went on a shark spotting tour and within minutes a five to seven foot juvenile great white shark approached our boat in the shallow waters off Dana Point. The big trout and I love building hex habitats into our lakes. Such a great bug for big fish.
Amazing footage! That looks like a huge fish (can you see it thrashing inside the pouch and do you know what kind?) the bird was fed! I’m guessing he didn’t to spare the fish’s life and keep it as a pet 😅? No one else watching reached out to save it either? The fish was struggling, but the hungry Pelican eventually managed to fully consume (alive?!) it all okay? It looked like the unlucky thing was desperately making a “C” shape to prevent sliding further down the throat! I wonder, does the large fish stand any chance of escaping if eaten in that condition? Maybe it can turn around inside the elastic throat/stomach and has a chance of survival here.
You know the bulldogs just being kind and letting the retriever think he has a chance 😂

What a wonderful video! I'm envious that you saw spotted trunkfish, a checkered puffer, an octopus, and the school of permits. I saw a couple of permits at Hol Chan, but not a whole school. For anyone going to Ambergris Caye, in addition to Hol Chan, other snorkeling spots that I enjoyed were Mexico Rocks and Coral Gardens. Coral Gardens is off of Caye Caulker. Unfortunately, you need to take a boat to get to the good snorkeling spots. There was surprisingly good marine life under the dock at Ramon's Village, which is the only good place I found to snorkel from the shore.
I like the color quality and resolution better than the later videos recorded via cell phones! And this one is LOTS less "jittery". Used to live there! Thanks.

What a powerful-looking pitbull. He seems to like his seaweed, too. Good thing that most types of seaweed are great and safe for dogs to eat. I hear it has about 21 amino acids in them. The water look very shallow, I am going to Belize in January 😃and I want to snorkel so bad. How deep in the water here? I’m not a good swimming and I don’t like to be in deep water but I want to experience this so bad. 😢
