I rode from Par, Cornwall to Great Bedwyn, Wiltshire. i just had a look on google maps and that is roughly the same miles that i done.. im sure your bike would make it as long that is a honda! When i made this journey i was taking it easy at around 50-55 mph, stopping 3 times and i only put about 8 quid back into the tank. Just remember the CLR is air cooled so on a warm day it could struggle a bit! good luck with your trip :)

You say you rode it 8 hours straight at 55mph, where was this from, and to? I am thinking of coming from Wirral to Norwich, but don't know whether it would go that far and be ok? Also, around town, I can get 230 odd miles out of a full tank, how many miles does a full tank last you when you're out doing 55/60mph? Thanks in advance!

@DPByes, youtube won't let me reply for some reason. I will be selling it as soon as i've got my full licence and a bigger bike (read "when I have the money") I was going to originally keep it as it's a great bike for pottering about on but due to needing to make a 150 mile journey every 3 weeks i need something faster. The city fly does cope no prob with the journey but it takes much longer. only costs about £9 in petrol for it though

Hi everyone! the camera i used was an enova 5mp slimline, i just taped it to my handlebars!, @DPByers it was a good bike, cost about 15 quid for the tax, insurance is cheap as fuck, bout 250 a year! and mine would cruise for hours at 55mph, (8 hours one time!) plus there like the old cg's, jus keep going...... till it got nicked :(

top speed on flat with no wind coming at you is about 65mph (which is the advisertised speed), i've had mine at about 68mph max on the a19. tax is £16 a year, My insurance fully comp was £250, insurance can vary massively though
