@@anonymous17283 343 did an update at some point to get rid of the fall damage glitch. in the process they broke slide jumps. since that update, if you try to do a slide jump that requires you to fall a long distance, it just doesn't work. you will lose all momentum. this update also broke the 60 tick superbounces

@@EastDallasKicks Because it's just a shortcut to get good and takes away from the skillcap button combos brings. Try doing perfectly aimed quadshots with classic RRX YY RRX vs. RRLB YY RRLB for example and you can tell which one is 10x harder. I know some who also change their shoot input to RB which helps a lot with timing since it's much clearer when you are giving the input vs RT. Basically if you can't do the combos with any of the plentiful control schemes the game gives you then you can't REALLY REALLY do the combos imo, also the OG H2 had way fewer schemes than there is now which is already making things easier. But again no hate towards Fricken because I know he can also do them with without any of this and is all around way better at the game that I will ever be.

@@twistedeyeernest9238 Well months later and my doubles are better. I’ve lost my quads unless I’m on cart. But now I feel I have the right to tell you to go screw your self lmfao. I play on xlink and OG h2 is the EASIEST game to quad on. I’m not even saying doubles just straight up everyone quads if the host is better the better the quads especially. I used to think people where skilled but the game just has so much aim assist especially with sticks. H2 mcc, tried universal default recon learned to quad on my good days. Hand stared fumbling by not pressing the right trigger a second time bebayse I had Been jumping between og, cart, cart H2X and mcc multiple times constantly. So I switched to default and it’s ok but universal default recon is easier. Now my response is it doesn’t matter what you do to make your combos easier now adays because og is done. Og wasn’t hard to quad. We have cart and mcc now and both offer button and layout mapping so if you don’t like people customizing on the most up to date versions than cry about it 😂. Even been doubling on the 2015 CN mcc version 💀

@@EastDallasKicks Is cool, you can have your opinion but my point still stands that it takes away from the skillcap button combos have. I am not denying it that I'm a dumbass elitist when it comes to this. I haven't tried xlink so can't really say but would assume that the reason why people who play there quads a lot is because the playerbase is probably bunch of guys who never put the game down and if the game runs 30fps like it used to, then yes the timing is easier than on mcc, same goes for certain lobbies on cart that run the old versions

appreciate it man. sucks el toro is dealing with the same thing. and to give you the short answer, high ping wont change the actual input timing of combos, but it will throw you off for other reasons. for example, you have less time to react to stuff and that throws you off mentally. bottom line, if you are messing up a lot, you are likely taking your finger off the reload button or the trigger a little too early and to fix it you have to consciously remind yourself to hold those buttons down long enough for your input to process

@@FrickenU Right on, thank you for the input! I’m still on an Xbox and using a wireless controller. I’ll keep messing with the timing and try to get more consistent. I might get a cord for my controller to see if that changes anything too. This is why I like H2 so much. It feels like there is always something new to learn. I think I just need to force myself to do the combos more. I’m getting older and tend to fall back into just shooting normally. Haha Do you ever have people question the grenade reloading? So funny how many long time players don’t know about that and just assume it’s cheating. 😂

@@kevinss1969 Lol! But just because this is the topic of the video, Godboxer is a known cheater and freely admits it. I rarely play with him and don’t even have him added because he constantly blocks/unblocks me. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Everyone else you mentioned is good people though 😁👍🏻

@@four81 exactly, some games I can double into quads easy af but it’s usually if I’m not host which is strange. For whatever reason my doubles work better when I’m not host which I figure is the opposite for you in a way

thanks for the kind words but these guys don't even play mnk. its just the current generation of h2 tryhards with inflated egos. they have a surface level understanding of the game and have no recollection of the generations of players who came before them. whats really weird is hearing cheating accusations from people i used to be friends with years ago, when i was arguably even better at quadding. everyone knew i was legit back then and i didnt even have handcam. dont know what happened

I can't tell you how many games I've lost 50-5. I was playing against a team and they were up by at least 30 and were still using the combo. Make somewhat competitive for those of lesser skill level. All you're doing is making new players not want to play anymore and then you'll complain that you can't find a game.

@@kevinss1969 you have to have a decent rank to play most ranked on mcc otherwise you wont find games. I agree, sweating a$$ in social is annoying af but its the only place we have left to play halo 2. 343 hates that game because the combos/skill gap so it gets no love

you are right in that I shouldn't have shot his body and been toxic, but it was absolutely the wrong play for him to make in that situation. there are only a few scenarios where wasting snipe ammo is a smart play. this was the exact opposite of what he should have done here.

I suck at snipes always have, if I recognize your gamer tag and I know there’s no place on map to throw the snipe off I’m going to empty it possibly before you get more ammo just to get a “rampage” I nor that dude in the video owe you or anybody a spree.
