On the back, it's look good, but I would of loved BRABUS in black writing on the back to replace the SMART writing. Just a preference but love the work you have done. Still looks good though.

We didnt get the touran her ein the states but it sound like your has the BMN and dpf. Funny the only BMN engines I've ever worked on were in the dodge journey and the dodge caliber both were imported by the same guy. for some reason he wanted the vw diesel version and not the fiat diesel version we got here in the states

Those damn clip on pipes! I've given up on replacing seals on the charge pipes. Always leak. I've looked at a seller that makes a bayonet so i can clamp on silicone hoses but it seems overkill for a stock gti.

Theres quite some play between the control arm bracket and subframe. I rekon that kit wouldve worked if you fitted with all bolts for steering,arb, control arm etc loose.

You didn't have to disconnect the rad to do this job.

Good progress, but whilst the front end was off you should have just changed the radiator at the same time. Will save lots of time in be long run. 😊

I'm in the process of looking for an s3 intercooler as it turns out the cfs aluminum radiator will not fit the APR or IE upgraded intercooler. I haven't tried a CTS one as I'm not willing to spend 700 just to see. And the cheap ebay ic while massive the it also won't fit, side note those are a great bang for the buck. Not gonna lie having my own a/c machine makes this a alot easier and struggling with the a/c condencer is a lot harder then it looks. I did 2 before I got my machine and they made me hate it.

no plug and play lights. need had preinstaled in the car full drl kit (and activate @ xentry). Then you can swap only the led lights (not necessary deatach the front bumper). that lights arent the brabus xclusive sku, are the pulse / passion drls. beauty car.

On the puddle lights, they both are considered puddle lights, but the reason the top part of the light on the door cards is becuase its a waring light to other drivers so when the door is open at night they see it.

The one thing most people who do this as a diy tent to miss that they need to set the preload on the handel. While you can get it without setting the latch a lot of the time when you open the door, it just doesn't have the right feel.

Great video. Going to help me do same job this week. Looks like you drained coolant from center auxiliary not right side lower radiator hose right? You think it was necessary to drain or just kept the mess down a bit?
