      Things are not always as they seem. The Neocatechumenal way just celebrated a Eucharist last Sunday July 7 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn with 20,000 Catholics and the presider at the mass was the Papal Nuncio to the USA Cardinal Christophe Pierre accompanied also by 15 other Bishops and 300 Priests and they all processed in at the start behind the Icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary as l was in attendance and was reported on by CNA that stands for Catholic News Agency so hardly SEEMS Protestant to me but maybe we’re all ignorant and you are the discerning one.

      @@brianmcguckin6895 well thank you! I have been discerning for nearly 10 years since the NCW infiltrated our parish. My family and I sincerely gave it a chance by attending the “talks” and soon found out that this was a means to an end and that end was being placed into a “community”, which was something that we were never told in the beginning. When we decided to not enter into a community we have been shunned. Also, the talks seemed to be geared toward very broken, often not even Christian people. Now I’m not saying me or my family are not broken or sinners, but the people who shared all of their lives in this environment shared stuff like drug use, infidelity, sexual abuses, etc.. Do Neocats believe that all people live like this and that if we are not confessing these types of sins that we are lying or not willing to confront these heinous things?? I don’t know, but I once had a NCW priest tell me that it is a way but not the way, and that it is not for everyone.. God bless you on your journey and please pray for me and my family. 🙏

      @@sade62397 l get it and agree with pretty much everything you said and l will keep you and your family in my prayers. I basically was just commenting on your statement about it being protestant. Although l understand why you perceive and call Neocats infiltrators l disagree. My community in my parish is the first one ever in Philadelphia. When my wife and I went to listen to the talks in 1995 we had no idea what it was, the young priest in our parish was 3 years into his priesthood and saw the Neocats in Denver at World Youth Day and noticed the spirit and the youth of the communities and asked them to come to our parish and give the catechesis. This young priest is now a Bishop in our diocese. So l had no idea about any community but when asked to continue a form a community we had reservations because it was different but nonetheless we wanted to continue for a couple reasons, speaking to your point about it not being for everyone I’ve heard that and said that many times. The main reason was through the listening and again initially l was wondering about lay people preaching because l never heard or saw that before other than protestants but with a priest that l knew and trusted sitting with us l knew it was catholic. This thing about opening up our life was hard but kind of attracted us because because we were a young couple with 3 children in the first 5 years of a marriage that was headed in the wrong way without even realizing it. My wife and I both had brothers who got divorced. And leads to your point about sharing about broken lives which everyone maybe to a different extent has because it is the Devil and our Demons which breaks our lives and to bring his actions in our lives publicly to the light is not confessing, we are free to share or not but it exposes the evil and sin working in and around us gives glory to God to witness how he conquers sin and death which is the revelation of God’s love and Christ mission in the world which continues today in the body of Christ which is us. So we continued because our faith was lacking and one of the things the NEO is, is lifelong faith formation and there aren’t many things going on in the parish geared to that end and definitely not a serious faith formation so it’s not for everyone but for some reason it spoke to us. The other thing it is and is definitely lacking in the parishes and the church , is Evangelization. Once again not the only way but definitely the only thing I ever experienced in the church. And that was our experience because to evangelize is only one thing to share what God has done in the circumstances of the reality’s we live concretely everyday. Something changed in our life that first year and at a barbecue 2 of my sisters who lived in different parishes and l don’t even know if they were going to church at the time asked about what was going on in my life and l just told them my experience and had no idea until they listened to the talks the next year and shared they themselves both committed adultery in their marriages. All 3 of our marriages reconciled and I think without the community would have resulted in 3 divorces that many marriages even in the church end up like. The other thing is I’m sorry you are shunned that shouldn’t happen. We give the talks now in the parishes and l wish people would stay but that’s God’s business but many who didn’t continue were definitely helped and most got more involved in the life of the parish after. God Bless

    What does it mean "to live out Baptism "?

    • @brianmcguckin6895
      @brianmcguckin6895 Před 19 dny

      There is no short answer to this question, but l am from a community in Philadelphia, these catechesis(talks) end in a retreat weekend and after that for those who want to continue they enter a community. This community is like a school of Faith so it’s basically adult faith formation for catholics who’s formation is not at a level of mature faith(which is probably most catholics in the US) and is more on a religious level like going to mass on Sunday try to be good and so forth. But that’s not Christianity which is a living faith, hence the quote to live out baptism. Most of us were baptized as infants and the question put to our Godparents is what do you want for this child? The answer is baptism and the next question is and what does baptism give you? And that answer is Faith and Faith gives Eternal Life which is just what it says Life Eternal(forever) the thing is most Catholics don’t live with this mentality that Jesus Christ has conquered Death and we have a share in that reality because of our baptism but baptism isn’t just water on the head. We receive the seed of Baptism that needs to be nurtured all life long and that’s where the formation comes in to play so we can live out Baptism. The reality of living out Baptism living our lives as if death has been overcome which means facing the reality that the suffering we experience every day has meaning and it’s not something to run away from because that’s where we sin by running away from suffering which is a symbol of the cross. So without Faith we will always run away and avoid suffering and as a society that is our mindset all the time even most Catholics and it doesn’t mean we are bad or can’t go to Heaven but it’s also no necessarily Christianity which is living out Baptism.

    • @sswogXXIII
      @sswogXXIII Před 19 dny

      @@brianmcguckin6895 So your telling me I don't have a mature faith because all I do is go to mass on Sunday? And the only way to be a ture Christian is to live eternity now by excepting all suffering as God's will.

    • @brianmcguckin6895
      @brianmcguckin6895 Před 18 dny

      @@sswogXXIII Sorry, I am not saying anything to you personally I don’t know you. But l was just trying to answer your question in the context of the podcast/interview. With that being said just going to mass on Sunday doesn’t mean someone has a mature adult Faith. Mature adult Faith means having the same faith as Jesus which is having his same Spirit within us which is what is given to us at Baptism. By Baptism we are born into the life, suffering,death and resurrection of Jesus. So yes Eternal life does not mean the afterlife it is something we can have and experience now on Earth. Ricardo had an experience of Eternal life as he stated in his witness of his parents dead marriage being resurrected. That also was my experience with my wife in our marriage that was dead (she had a brother that got divorced and l had a brother that got divorced ) and we we’re headed there also when we attended these talks in our parish. We experienced the resurrection in our marriage and also life taken out of death because after our 3rd child my wife was voluntarily sterilized as the ultimate form of birth control but by the grace of God after hearing of God’s loving plan for our life the sterilization of my wife was surgically reversed with no guarantees to conceive but our fourth child was born on the feast of the immaculate conception. So we also experienced new life out of a dead womb. Which leads to God’s will and suffering. Jesus Spirit the spirit he wants to give us In Baptism is his nature but a Supernatural spirit. Our human nature is weak and limited so it never occurs to us that our suffering has meaning and can be redemptive so we fight a losing battle all life long of trying to avoid suffering at all costs even though it is a reality of our human existence. The cross is a symbol of everything that kills us or makes us suffer every day. Jesus Spirit did not run away from the cross but entered into it trusting in the Fathers plan and will (Faith) for his mission on earth. Whereas our nature like that of even the apostles who scattered at the crucifixion. And even before when Jesus told Peter that he would suffer at the hands of men and die on the cross, Peter said no Lord, I will not let that happen and Jesus rebuked him Saying get behind the Satan, you are thinking as men of the world and not as God thinks.

    • @brianmcguckin6895
      @brianmcguckin6895 Před 18 dny

      As far as God’s will and suffering God does not will or want us to suffer but it is a reality as a result of original sin. But he had a plan ofsalvation for all mankind Since to beginning. God either wills or ordains All human and cosmic events that means the big things and a little things that happened to us every day. Two ordain means to allow so it is his will as far as allowing suffering. Saint Augustine said God will not allow anything bad to happen to anyone without already in his divine Providence planning to draw a greater good to come out of it. My sin and selfishness manifested itself in my marriage to have children you die you lose your life your time, your money, your sleep you suffer, so I didn’t want to be open to life, which means being open to love. Because I didn’t have eternal life, I didn’t want to die none of us do unless we have Jesus’s risen spirit inside of us gets back to baptism, but it’s a lifelong battle of faith, because you can lose it, so it’s not really a matter who has it and who doesn’t we have to grow in faith and that’s where lifelong formation comes in to play. Abraham is the father of Faith and his was a lifelong journey. So to live out Your baptism is to seek to live your life with the gift of the supernatural grace that was given to us. So I am just trying to give examples of everyday mature acts of faith. Mature faith is Jesus spirit that has overcome Death. Jesus says Love your enemies and l don’t know about you but I have trouble loving the people around me, let alone my enemies. Without Faith impossible but with faith l can can forgive and love even people around me who act like an enemy

      @@brianmcguckin6895 It's okay bother, Apology accepted. And I agree with you. Going to these very gay liturgies called "mass" or "Eucharist " which are filled with effeminacy and sentimentality will not given anyone an adult faith. Believe me I know. As for your ( spirit/ resurrection /experience) or what ever you want to call it, Let just call it Faith. It can only be give by God and he determines how much you received and he infusion it into your intellect which then strengthens your will and enlightens your intellect. It's not that complicated. Prepare your self brother. As soon as kiko passes away. Rome has prepare to dismantle the way and how things are run. Many will be scandalized and taken by surprise. They are infiltrators in every continent. It will be gradual but affective. Take care Brother.

    Fr Michael, I'll never forget the first time I saw you, I saw the Spirit of God all around you. At that time, your long beard and hair didn't faze me because I knew you were a Holy man of God. I've been in the Church, my whole life and have never seen that before. God judges the heart. Man judges the outer appearance which is often inaccurate and biased. " Never judge a book by it's cover until you read it." As a Master's level therapist, I've learned that people respond to others based on how they feel about themselves. People who are very critical of others and love to gossip have low self esteem and usually have a lot of "skeletons" in their closet. Their deflecting by criticizing others. You have been very transparent, Fr. it's none of anyone's business what is on your body. Oh my goodness, please, Church, please. Seek God, read your Bible, praise Him at home and pray that the law of kindness be on your tongue. Sins of the tongue will cause more damnation than anything in my personal opinion. May God bless you, Fr Michael and make your enemies your footstool. We love and appreciate you.✝️

    See this where I get lost. When I act out good in my life I’m not thinking of a reward, I’m not thinking about heaven. I just do good because it’s what should be done. As soon as you incorporate a rewards system it then has the ability to be broken. As soon as one is told that they need to act differently they are then also being told that their natural inclination is wrong. Can you imagine what that is like for a 5 year old who doesn’t know the difference between good and evil and is instead being told that because you are human you are inherently evil. Who made those rules? Who decides? Jesus died for my sins apparently but I didn’t ask him to, and - until my experience was warped by the horror of doctrine - never needed him to. Just saying.
