Lot's of comments about lockers etc. Please remember This vehicle is at least forty years old if not fifty or sixty years old. Lockers weren't a thing back then and in Africa they would be a luxury even on a 70 series. best thing to do is lower your tyre pressures

I have removed many of theses steering relays easily. All you need is vibration and lubrication from atf mixed with acetate Best penetrating oil 50 -50 mix leave for a day or so . Then get your air chisel or stationary chuck sds drill and a blunt chisel or drill shaft 10mm and hit the underside of the relay rust will rain down for a minute or to and the relay will jump out of it's hole . Never failed me yet . Vibration will move almost anything Phil Price

Great work foreman. How did you clean those housing ? Degreaser, gasoline, wirebrush and you talked of hot bath ? I want to clean mine 🙂

This is probably 3 months too late, I think the throttle cable outer should be fixed to the engine as any movement between body and engine will operate the throttle. This is one of the best restoration series I've watched be a shame when it ends👍

Part 2. Can he go through all 35 videos without a foot injury. We will see.

I'm both very pleased for you all and incredibly sad that there isn't going to be more of the build which has kept me vastly entertained over the last few years. I hope to see you again, off for new adventures in Grevison. Next week we're off for an adventure in our Land Rover 130 Ambulance called Katy so we'll have some fun ourselves

Hi, mine makes the clicking sound when trying to unlock. You reckon its something electrical then? It clicks but nothing moves. You can move it a cm or so by hand tho. Any advice how and where to look and what to check?

How fantastic is that!! I'd have to say that was the best LR videography I have ever enjoyed. To think that was your 'test run' was to see a man confident in his chariot.
