Definitely don't put anti-seize on the plug threads. Crush washer does the sealing, and threads will be more or less soaking in the best anti-rust lubricant, oil. I've never seen a differential plug with any rust on the threads. If it does rust, your diff is like empty = bigger problems.
could the bearing be the reason my axle has up and down movement when i grab and move it? looks easy enough to do. i would just remove upper control arm bold and tie rod to do axel.
Haven’t checked the clutch yet, but my clutch starts (turns and everything) then 30 seconds later it stops working. Could the clutch still be the problem?
Excellent video! How much time did it take you to do this? Just trying to plan ahead. Thank you for such an awesome detailed video.
The best intro ive ever witnessed in my life
A link to you mechanic chair on rollers
I'm having problems getting the axle back in any suggestions?
Remember that the splined end of the axle has to be raised a bit to mate it together with the diff
@@KFloTacoma thxs homie
Man I have no idea what the deal is I can feel the splines starting to line up I can put pressure on it and turn the drive shaft and the opposite wheel but I can't get it to seat I checked it with caliper the splines get bigger ever so slightly the closer you get to the bearing@@KFloTacoma
And she got that right lol
Hi r those 3 pulleys the same size
that’s the owner
Toyota mechanic says don’t grease the outside of the seal just the inside and use Toyota rubber grease not bearing grease
Noticed that you didn’t check to the if fan motor under the passenger side cable connection on the side may have come loose as mine did. Simple check that you ignored.
It was a great weekend! Can't wait to do it again!!
My two dads really like their Tacomas!
Simple, thank you.
Loved the video. Perfect explaination. Did u use 3m adhessive spray?
Jafo
Ja-paw LOL
Track?
Hell yeah! Love my taco! 🌮
Any information on the quick connection
i love you, thanks!
Wow the best Biggie remake ever❤
What culture is this ?
Still beats an EV under the same driving conditions.
Is that "Hajime No Ippo", behind you, on the wall?
LOL that's a great anime/manga but that poster is actually of Manny Pacquiao
12 to 14 MPG 😂
Pins 5 and 3 on the relay just need to be jumped to test the clutch. You don't need to do all that nonsense with the power probe
“Karaoke where you’ll find me” 😂 I’m dying
It's a deep part of Filipino culture 😂
16mpg combined. Got 20mpg combined when I got it. Chased that for the last 8 years. Can't figure it out.
Ah, Tacoma. The small truck with the price of a 1/2 ton, the mileage of a 3/4 ton and the power of a 4 cyclinder.
And it will still come and pull your jeep out fir you
@@larrygreen4324 That is highly doubtful. Toyota's don't really go off road, they just dress up like they do.
I get 10 to 12 highway
Off road..unlimited smiles per gallon..ON road, 20-22mpg
Short and sweet and straight to the point. Great video dude!
Started doing this then realized that hole where you put the drill bit on mine is broken
I get 2-5mph off road
What’s the size and length of the stud?
This for 2nd tacoma's?
This works for 2nd and 3rd
@KFloTacoma awesome thanks man appreciate it!
How did it spund with the exhaust off
@kflo Great vid. Still in diagnose mode trying to decide if replacing the compressor is the right next step. Symptoms are a lowering idle if anything that loads the AC (AC itself, defrost, etc). in cold weather it will die if left in idol and any AC demand is on. Runs great w/o AC demand. now i'm getting a scream when AC kicks in so suspecting the compressor failing. suggestions on trouble shooting? 09 tacoma 4 cyl
Sounds like your system is probably over pressurized! When you turn on the A/C button, double check that the radiator fan is kicking on (it should spin up pretty fast). If that fan is not running it can raise the system pressures (if it's not running, fix that first). If the fan is running, pickup a R134a Manifold set from Harbor Freight and check your pressures (there are a lot of videos here on CZcams on how to check that). There are also a lot of charts online that show what the pressures should be for a given outside temperature. Also, the charts usually have a guide as to what the problem might be given specific high side and low side pressures. - Also a scream is typically the belt slipping (you may need a new belt as well) Hope this helps!
Super helpful! I'll be adding sound deadening on the roof on mine. Good video
That’s a clean set up!
Thanks bro! It was a lot of work to build so definitely check out the linked video
So if i checked all diagnosis and all is good. I'm still not blowing air at all ? How can i tell if its the blower. The plug or the fan motor is good or bad ?
Awesome video! Thank you for coming to the Pilgrimage. I hope to see you again this year!
Please you opinon on what is wrong. AC light blinking, compressor not working. Had it filled with freon or whatever, drove home all was good, nice cool air. Truck sat 2 days, and then AC not working. AC light blinks after a while. Had it check for freon and man said it was full, fuse and relay ok. Is compressor shot? Truck is 2011 but only 62k miles.
Toyota racing development badge baby 😎
That's an additional 5 HP per letter
Should’ve gotten a lift kit in my opinion, but it’s a nice truck either way.
It's on a 3 inch suspension lift (Dobinsons) with 35s
Hi, I did it step by step and everything was almost perfect. Now I have the 4WD light flashing on the panel. This situation has me worried because I don't touch, much less disconnect, anything. I disconnected the battery for 20 minutes and there were no changes. Any ideas or suggestions?
Did you make sure that the 4WD is in the off position? Did you check the harnesses on the transfer case? You may have knocked it loose
You are the best!
