For the drying issue, I just drilled 3 13/64” holes in the craters on the opposite side of the treat hole.

Love this! It helped.And using the jar food, the top gives so many minutes of entertainment for the dog. She pushed it around the floor for a long time and I was able to clean up toys. 😊

Would you recommend this for a bunny? I've been trying to find him a cheap toy for easter and figured a normal Kong would be too easy.

You do NOT need to buy this, just put dry doggie kibble into an empty water bottle and your dog will paw at it around the room to cause pieces of kibble to fall out bit by bit...

It sounds like the two products just serve different needs. It doesn’t really make sense to compare two products that aren’t comparable. While the OH feeder sounds like a good slow-feeder option for dry meals, it doesn’t seem like it would function well as a soother or support repetitive licking behaviors. The same way the lickimat wouldn’t work with dry kibble. It’s apples to oranges. FWIW, my high energy, high anxiety dog has the same green lickimat. I use it with baby food for enrichment/as a “special treat,” and I have not had any of the issues you mentioned here.

Thanks for sharing I was wonder if anyone else gives baby food to their dog I believe that my dogs does better with baby food instead of preparing all that meat and veggies for the dog to eat I just mix it with a healthy good dry dog food

I bought a " slow feeder dog bowls white " from a brand named PETDURO on Amazon (Amazon's Choice) and found it sturdier, deeper and heavier that can slow down my dog's eating effectively and stay in place while my dog eating.

I just got the new Fable Pets "The Game" puzzle feeder (after failed Kong Wobbler, Large and Starmark Bob-A-Lot Interactive Pet Toy, Large). Really really like it. Pricey (which is why I avoided it at first), but it allows you to adjust hole size and complexity easily, it's silicon jacketed soooo it's quiet... and my Labrador can't shred the top like the Bob-A-Lot and get the food out (she is not a chewer at all, but she figured out how to game the system). Also, it holds 1.5 cups of dried food (the Bob-A-Lot holds like 1/3-1/4 of a cup which is a pain) so I can hold a full meal for a large 80lb dog. Your tip with the ball helped immensely with the Kong... it's just too loud and releases to easily for utilty.

Simple to clean .eithet leave food dry and then it will fall out or put under hot watwr immediately and without any scrubbing will wash easily

I bought a crate for my dog and thought he would not sleep in my bed. But the first night I brought him home, we had just gotten off a flight and were tired. I wanted to make him feel completely welcome and relaxed and loved so I let him sleep with me. There was no going back after that. Sometimes that was awkward when I was dating, but now that I have a significant other, we’ve all worked out a good sleeping situation. Luckily my dog is small!

I first brought my dog to work on a day that he had a vet appointment. It made it much easier for me logistically to get him to the appointment, and it was a great, short test to see how he would do. He’s a sleepy guy who likes people but doesn’t get overly excited so he does well. And luckily my office does not have any other dogs nearby, which would be harder for him to handle

Even cat people can appreciate hazeldog.
