Glider Training - Flight 21 (Partial) - Solo Practice 4 of 4 for the Day
Completed in a Grob 103 over Alexandria, Indiana at Soar Indy (www.soarindy.org)
Released at 3,000 ft AGL. Practiced steep turns and thermaling. This was my best thermaling flight to date as I had only lost 500 ft of altitude by the time the tow plane had returned to altitude with the next glider. I got 36 minutes total flying time. Unfortunately, as this was my 4th of the day, my camera battery gave out early in in the flight. I will be looking to power it by an external source in the future.

One of my first and favorite dives in Bonaire and ive been going there for 10 years and glad you dove this awesome wreck! Next time you guys can end your dive by going up the reef along with your safety stop and if you're lucky there's some sea horses on the soft corals.

Under 300ft AGL I would have landed straight ahead, especially given the vast amount of landable paddocks there. Also not a fan of pulling brakes in a turn that low.

My friends dad died in that cave...Flanell is his name...with over a 1000 base jump experience since Vietnam .. He did 3 jumps at this location with success..equipment wasn't right on the 4th...and he went to Valhalla....R.I.P.

just fyi, if you were going for cinematic in tight spaces in the future if you use cable cam to mark your points within this bridge you get even smoother shots than flying manually whether with controller or app
