Self-Sponsorship Visa Success Story || Can I Start a Business in the UK with Self-Sponsorship Visa?
Obtaining a self-sponsorship visa in the UK can be challenging, but it’s not impossible. This visa route is particularly appealing to entrepreneurs and skilled professionals who wish to establish their own businesses in the UK or take control of their own immigration status by essentially becoming their own sponsor. However, the process involves several complexities that can make it difficult.
First, applicants must establish a viable and scalable business in the UK, which requires a well-thought-out business plan that meets the UK's economic and market needs. This often requires significant financial investment, and applicants must demonstrate that their business will create jobs for UK residents, contributing positively to the economy.
In addition, the UK government will closely scrutinize the applicant’s business credentials, including their experience, financial stability, and the potential for business success. Meeting these requirements can be difficult, especially for those unfamiliar with the UK’s business environment or who lack access to the necessary resources and professional advice.
Furthermore, navigating the application process itself requires careful attention to detail, with specific documentation and legal compliance required. Small errors or omissions can lead to delays or even refusals.
Overall, while the self-sponsorship visa offers a unique opportunity, it demands thorough preparation, significant resources, and often, expert guidance to successfully secure.
We helped our client Mr. Vijay and Mrs Kanchi obtain the Uk Self sponsorship visa that was too overwhelming for them and they shared their experience working with SmartMove2UK.

Ensure that your granddaughter meets the criteria for a family permit under the current rules. Gather all necessary documentation proving her relationship to you and your status in the UK. My bank dipped below th 1270 but I have SIP mutual funds above that. 1. Can SIP portfolio be the proof ? 2. Can a letter from my parents of 6000 GBP suffice ?

    • @The_SmartMove2UK
      @The_SmartMove2UK Před měsícem

      Unfortunately, SIP mutual funds cannot be used as direct proof of funds for the UK Skilled Worker visa maintenance requirement. The UK Home Office specifically requires evidence of liquid funds in a bank account, which SIP mutual funds are not. These funds are typically considered investments and not readily accessible as cash. A letter from your parents stating their intention to provide £6000 GBP is generally not acceptable as proof of funds. The Home Office requires evidence of your financial resources, not those of a third party. This is to ensure you can support yourself independently in the UK.

    • @The_SmartMove2UK
      @The_SmartMove2UK Před měsícem

      A discrepancy in your mother's name on your UK visa application is a serious issue that requires immediate attention. Incorrect information can potentially lead to a visa refusal. You should contact the UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) as soon as possible to explain the error, provide your application reference number, and request guidance on correcting the mistake before your biometric appointment. Gather supporting documents, such as your birth certificate clearly showing your mother's correct name, and any other relevant documents.

    • @The_SmartMove2UK
      @The_SmartMove2UK Před měsícem

      The Authorised Officer requirement arises in the very first step of the self-sponsorship route for a Skilled Worker visa in the UK. As part of this application, you will need to designate a British national (someone who is a British citizen or settled in the UK) as the Authorised Officer.
