    Racism is a problem around the world. Tragically, it is a part of human nature and definitely one everyone must work ceaselessly to overcome. Let us all seek to apply the principle found at Colossians 3:11 "where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, foreinger, Scythian, slave or freeman; but Christ is in all things and in all." We are all children of Jehovah, we are all made of the same dust by the same Father. @@Richie-kd4nq The 433 diamond shape will be a good idea, however I don't think the blackstars have the right personnel to play that system. Switching to a diamond now will be difficult. To play a diamond players have to understand their roles and responsibilities and defend collectively as a team. Lack of concentration and players being out of positions will unlock the diamond shape. I don't think there's enough time for the players to adjust to that system. There will be alot of gaps plus the blackstars don't really have a proper play maker who will be at the top of the diamond.

    The problem in African football is the Mickey Mouse local coaches and corrupt football federation officials. Professional players sacrifice in order to play for their countries. What benefit do they get? The accommodation they get while playing for their clubs cannot be compared to what they go through when representing their countries. The list is endless. That's why players like prince Boateng concentrate on their club careers. Their countries pay them nothing.

    It's ok to drop Jordan Ayew from the Black Stars or let him sit on bench but dropping Andre Ayew was a wrong move on the part of the coach. Andre is probably the most productive player on the field Ghana has today. He is either making plays or serving others to make plays. Coach should reconsider his decision.

    Jones, first off I mostly agree with you. I think it is worth mentioning that since 2014, indicipline and contention in the locker room has been rife in the national team and it's killing them. I'm of the camp that no matter what, the coach has to show who is in control, and Kwesi Appiah cannot be afraid to show his teeth. Great teams never allow any individual to be above the team, period. Yes the Ayew brothers are excellent players, but it's simply impossible to win with a divided team. This doesn't reach the level of Kevin Prince Boateng indicipline, but it is enough to prevent the team from moving forward and rebuilding. It's either the Ayews are with the program or not. Personally, I think they are smart enough to understand what is important, themselves or playing for a winning team. Overall, despite Kwesi Appiah's shortcomings as a coach or his tactical acumen, I think one thing is for certain, and that is he's trying to build a team of players who will fall in line and give their best for the national team.

    If Asamoah Gyan isn't ready to step aside or accept the fact that father time is undefeated, then he needs to take the Miroslav Klose approach and come off the bench, or accept that he can only play 60 mins tops a game.

  • @teddysafo1
    @teddysafo1 Před 6 lety

    I agree with everything you said. The game shouldn't have ended in this way, but our world cup qualifying campaign was abysmal. Even if we won, we needed Congo to miraculously beat Egypt, and that didn't happen. Bottom line, we had to take every opportunity by the horns and we didn't in this qualifying cycle. The team was playing some bad football and maybe it was for the best we didn't qualify. In a separate vein, the issue of African referees flat out bombing in meaningful games does need to be addressed. I find it funny that in both matches against Uganda there were awful decisions that was just painful to witness. Our first match, a player who had two yellow cards wasn't sent off. Now in this past match, an obvious goal was disallowed. This is just unacceptable because it does damper African football. It's bad enough playing on awful pitches, and having a bad ref makes it even embarrassing to watch. No wonder African referees aren't chosen to officiate in the World Cup, and I doubt we'll see any in Russia next year.

      Sports Frenzee to be honest it is not our time to be at another world cup as this team is a shambles, and the back stars can only blame themselves if they had beaten Uganda in the first match of the qualifiers things may have been different, but it is our time so they should look at this as a learning curve, and ensure they do not miss another world cup. Anyways it is about Ghana step side and sort out all the issues going on with the team, and it is Egypt's turn to grace the global stage for first time since 1990, and to be honest it is for the best that this team does not go to the world cup cause their not a formidable team, cause imagine if this team was to go to the world cup, then the Black stars will get humiliated facts. So it is fate that Egypt have made it to the world cup after all they deserve it, cause they took Advantage of the opportunities they had to qualify for the FIFA world cup.
