I really admired the people who we're born on the 1980s.

In any cultural recap of the 90s, the following will always be overlooked: Rocko's Modern Life Duckman Weird Science (the TV show, not the movie) Vanesse Angel (see above) Liquid Television and anything featured on Liquid Television, especially The Maxx and Aeon Flux Darkman The Shadow Rhonda Shear USA Up All Night The Outer Limits The Hitchhiker Also, no reference to Star Trek: The Next Generation is just inexcusable.

The 80's indeed was the best times of my life ❤ music and movies and sooooo many other things as well as friendships that I wish never forget❤

I just miss our unjaded optimism. I mean, we understood sarcasm and irony but I think that living in the Cold War/Nuclear Era made us fundamentally kinder from the get go.

Here's what happened since the 80's: the Baby Boomers took the national debt in 1980 of $900 Billion, and over their lifetime, only added to the national debt of $35 TRILLION in 2024. And then to add insult to injury on their children, took them to 2 of the longest wars they voted for in Afghanistan & Iraq, jacked up the cost of college education & housing, and they outsourced manufacturing jobs to Asia, and flooded the country with illegals. They pulled up the ladder behind them to the American dream, and now they are old & fat, demanding young people to pay for their Medicare & lockdown the economy for years over a cough. Boomers ruined America, and while they partied their whole life, they leave behind the hangover and the bills to their children.

I loved this video so much. Truly nostalgic and comprehensive. I appreciate you putting this together.

I am X. The 80s was a different planet compared to today. Even my kids know it was great. For all of you out there wishing things could be like the 80s, understand why things are shit today. One word. One terrible horrible word. A word that represents the worst of humanity. That word….. LIBERALS!

Would love to go back and stay there. FFS everything has gone downhill since the 80s.
