Capt. Justin Napior Triple tail tips!!
Best information out there.
I was waiting on the oem oil gasket part number
Thanks man. I bought a new 2wd truck. Don’t ask me why I didn’t get the 4x4. I didn’t consider it will help with boat launching. Oops. But yeah. I’m glad I watched this. Now I know a safer way to launch with 2wd
What about tire chucks like they use on airplanes?
I used a piece of 2x4 worked perfect.
Appreciate the video. You said Summer is the Tarpon bite. What season goes to which species? When is SNook?
Snook are generally easier in summer too.
Thanks for the tip, hard to find here in Malaysia so I just ordered one from Amazon :)
Bro he's trying to shake that hook out.Keep it tight Bro keep it tight
Bowing the rod works better in my opinion
I love how every time you get a new boat you stick with Yamaha!
I need that reliability!
I will never launch or retrieve a boat with a 2wd truck, ALWAYS 4 x 4!
The black n white got me creeping out
Heck ya I’ve got Acouple jumpers too! Tight lines👊🏼
My favorite!
awwwwwwwesome
That jump out of the water must have felt good.
My favorite part about tarpon! They put on a show
100% removed this man's fear of fishing alone with my 2WD truck. Ordering one now.
How to program the level or percentage of fuel or gasoline on the Suzuki 300 hp 4-stroke year 2016 engine monitor
I think when I get my boat, I'm going to use the Brake Buddy as well as the wheel chocks. Why not... I've personally seen 2 submarine pickups at the ramp. I never want to be in that position
what a shot!
I feel cheated.
😂 teaser
Wheel ckucks or a cinder block
Very good point,I’ll use it from now on❤❤❤
What placing a wheel chock with a rope attached? That when you’re driving up you can just have the rope through your window. The wheel chock is good when your loading by yourself
Thank You ! 👍🏼
Good idea but that doesn’t prevent the rear tires slipping when you put the truck in gear and try to pull the boat and trailer out of the water. A friend that hadn’t driven a stick shift for a while tried to pull my trailer out after I had backed the boat off. Every time he let the clutch out the tires spun and the truck slid back a few feet. He finally gave up and got out so I could do it. I’ve seen people at the ramp have the same problem with automatic transmissions just by applying too much power. I’ve even done it a few times. The best solution I’ve found is to very slowly add power until the rear tires reach dryer pavement.
I'm a new boat owner. Thanks for the tip, sir!👍👍
Very helpful. Thank you sir
Hey I have a 2003 suzuki df90 I have not been able to find a Alan tool to fit my drain plug have tried every one I own either to big or too lose do you have any idea what size. Thanks
Still probably THE BEST boat launch tip on youtube!!!
Now he will be hooked forever, tarpon become the only fish that matter. Well done young man.
Wonder if wheel chock can simply work.
i know i always get nervous that it will happen to me since i have to put my rear tires in to launch my boat. i commercial fish and im going to be doing it this winter for first time so thats when im really nervous about it.
Yesterday I was having a conversation about boat ramps. Now, this video was recommended to me.
Great tip....Sliding has been one of those areas that makes me real weak in the knees. Already bought one, thanks to your tip.
Dang how long of a fight

Having a wheel chock or two is another good option. People think im ridiculous and laugh when using one for my 17' tiller boat, but im not worried about my tuck getting dunked...ive seen it happen, i dont want that, ever.
I'm 54 years old and ALWAYS thought that the parking brake/emergency brake locked all 4 wheels. That's not a good design. It definitely should.
i use my parking brake on level ground and nobody needs to tell me to do it i just do the opposite of everyone and life has been good not a sheep i think
Good Idea. I use a board from the brake to the seat to check my brake lights so now I'll start using it at the ramp as well. Another "trick" I now use which I saw on CZcams is to place rubber wheel chocks behind the front wheels to help prevent sliding when you go to crank the boat on the boat trailer. Tie short ropes to the chocks and attach to your mirrors so that when you drive away from the ramp to the parking lot you can drag your wheel chokes with you.
Hi Uncle Justin
Hi stink bug
@@capt.justinnapior9107 👋
Just curious? Do you like to have a nice cold alcoholic beverage when fishing?
Naw I prefer a protein shake 💪
Hell yeah!
Cool deal I need to get one. But I'm still backing it up with chocks though. I have an old manual 5-speed so it gets set into 2nd gear also.
Thanks for the REMINDER!!!!
Real genius
Hi. I have the same questions/enhancements to the video: 1) Why not drain the old first BEFORE removing filter? Should save some spillage. 2) Need to first lube the filter gasket, with a drop of oil, before installing. Otherwise, nice video!
Thanks, good idea. My truck is still dry, but it makes me nervous when I have to leave it to deal with the boat when I am solo. Which is every time I have launched so far.
In addition to the brake trick you can put 4-6 bags of sand in the bed in front of the axle. Trucks are light in the rear and the extra weight can help keep it planted.
Great video, Great idea, What is this tool called? This tool should at least slow my suv down if not save it if it slips out of park, Back in the late 80's my dads pickup slip out of park when he came home from work one morning. And yes it had a locking ignition and the keys were removed. It went down the driveway thru the front yard and down a 30 foot embankment and hit 4 medium size maple trees. Thank goodness it hit the trees cause there was a road just passed them. Bent the frame. It was totaled but he paid the extra money to have the frame straightened. Just saying strange things happen sometime. I wouldn't want to be the person watching my suv go in then watching my boat being taking down also. really awesome idea. Thanks William
