Great to see a part of my state that I Haven’t been 23.25
Thinking of heading out to Chambers Pillar this coming July (2024). Track looks good here but this was 10 years ago! I will have to Monitor NT Roads website for current road condition. Just hope they don't have any more down pours out there in the meantime! I like watching these videos and trying to geo-locate the location on Google Earth. With the amount of hills I can see why NT Roads recommend a sand flag be put on your vehicle for this track.
Yes if wet it can be tricky. If it's been recently graded and dry it would be pretty good.. You can always check with NT roads.. Just call them!
Track looks good then, wonder what it's like after all the rains?

Great to see landscapes off the beaten track that few people get the opportunity to see such remote areas
How F__king boring

Perfect Simmi - a snapshot in time!
Yes á bit of drive through archeology 😂
Pity its not the first shaft, jack murray and other men were already finding opal at old nobby area in 1900 , 1901 ,,before nettleton arrived , it was jack murray that took nettleton to where he & roughly 9 men where digging already, after nettleton failed to find anything , the syndicate paying nettleton to prospect even admits to the Walgett spectator ( news paper ) that men were scratching already , yes nettleton walked to white cliffs , but so did jack murray.
seen the netflix doco yet?
No not yet, thanks for pointing it out.. I did see what I think was an Australian Story on the ABC on it as well.. Still haven't found out the truth..
Would you tow a van up Killarney gap road without any issues of overheating?
I'd say yes.. It's not that steep and not that long either..
She an old Landy, looks very gradual but persist climb though
Hi.. is Dubbo a safe place to live?
I've never lived in Dubbo, so I can't say from personal experience. I've got friends living there and they have never mentioned being unsafe. You can google dubbo crime rate and get some data if you want..
How r u?. what a amazing , farewell-👌
Lovely video
I guess someone has to look and like this.
Great video again and the landscape looks fantastic. My brother and his family live there and ask me all the time to come down from Townsville so looking forward to your next video mate.
Gilgandra is now spelt with a K is it?! Wanna check the spelling of the overlays you’re putting up for those who need subtitles?? Don’t think a letter G looks anything like the letter K, but keep telling yourself your videos are good enough for youtube! May as well give up trying to read English subtitles - you can’t frigging spell!
This is Huggins Lookout & the same video as your Huggins Lookout one.
Thanks for pointing this out!. I must have made a misstake when uploading the file. I will re-upload it once I fix it and delete the duplicate one..
Beautiful country there indeed and you sure cannot beat those small little country towns for beauty👍
Miller Forester, I agree. Would love to visit Iceland but think the window for visiting would be 2-3 months. The rest of the year would be horrible
Love the drone view at the end, really a great perspective of that wonderful landscape sir
That one was taken on a GoPro Hero 3+ camera..
Awesome! Can I ask which dash cam you used to record this please?
This video was token from July 2017
Yes it was back in July 2017
Beautiful country there
Wow that looks amazing
Nice video sir and as always some good information , country side looking good there
This is really helpful! The first 5 minutes slow setting, but just what I needed for instruction!!! calm and instructive!!!
please, night ride in outback ❤
Hi Simmi, Thanks for the video. About 10 years ago I scanned my slides and negatives - very gratifying to see them digitised. One of the problems I faced, that I did not overcome was the slight warping/buckling of the colour reversal film encased within the cardboard or plastic mount. This resulted in a varying distance, across the slide, between the scanner and the image surface, leading to some parts of the slide being a little out of focus. Have you come across this, or does the V800 handle this? Regards, Ralph
Hi Ralph, my slides were from 1980's and I had kept them in a slide tray and slide boxes. I'm pretty sure some of them were slightly bulged as that happens all the time.. The Epson V800 slide carrier doesn't use little tabs to hold the slides, it uses a frame which snaps in place and provides a more firm downward pressure on the paper which houses the negative. Although that in itself won't alleviate all warping I must say I didn't notice focus issues with what I was scanning.. With the Epson slide holder you can also vary the height from the glass via plastic tabs which can also help with getting the right focus..
Thank you so much for the tutorial. It was excellent and got me started using the software. The tips for loading the slides were appreciated too.
Really helpful thanks!
Liked #1. The bottled house looks quite interesting! It must be extra nice during sunrise or sunset when the light could penetrate through the bottles and giving out some beautiful colors in interior! On the aerial footage, love the maze like patterns are really incredible. The sunset is very beautiful 👍Watched the full video, liked button and comment in appreciation to support the right way, happy to support your channel 😊 Have a wonderful day, take care 😎👍
Thanks Mate.. It's a great place to see the sunset for sure..
@@TravellingVikings My pleasure, happy to support your channel 😎 👍
Hi Simmi. Thank you for making this excellent video.❤
Thanks, it was a part of history I didn't know about until going there and doing a bit of research on it for the video..
I love your 3 part videos of Sydney to Nowra and have watched so many times I’m sure by the time I get there I will know the way by heart lol. Now if there was only a video showing me how to get from Sydney airport to where this first video starts, then I could familiarise myself with my full route 😁
Hi Linzi, Video 1, probably my oldest video takes you along the Hume Highway from the Eastern side of Sydney. At time mark 41:09 in that video is the turn off where this one begins! I haven't done anything around the airport though!
@@TravellingVikings Hi Simmi , thanks for the reply ☺ So I guess I can’t go far wrong if I can just get from the airport to Hume Hwy, then go from there lol. I found video 1, and am watching it now. 😁
@@linziosburn426 No worries Linzi.. The same video, but at 4x the speed is also there Video 1x4 it's called.. Takes a bit faster to run through!
