    He played 82 games 9 times. That wear and tear would diminish anyone's career. Guys today only want to play 60-65 games. #soft Lookup the Jordan Rules and see how physical the NBA was in the 80s and 90s.

    Good reaction! Like that you weren't talking throughout but had pertinent comments here and there. Better to hear and understand what is being said about the man. Love Larry Bird! You react to more of him, and I'll be watching it. I got you a year after this, but I grew up watching the Celtics, so if anything, you were late to the game. I enjoyed your reaction to Larry's Mixtape better than anyone else's I've watched. Great job!

    I am confused at how PEOPLE say "slow...non-athletic etc etc" but Bird is playing like everyone else, better actually. He is outrunning everyone, jumping just as high and everything else. He played like that the whole game. The thing about Bird is that he makes the simple things look great and the hardest things look easy. It getting old to hear certain people try to find something bad before they praise him. Seems to be the only way they can handle the fact that one of if not THE GOAT is White

    Bill Russell did it while his activist friends were getting shot (Medgar Evers and MLK), had racists breaking in to his house and writing the N word on his walls in feces... And went out there and won 11 rings... Jordan is the best player ever, but don't sleep on the greatness that was Bill Russell!

Look how many people are down at the basket in these clips! The basket is wide open in today's NBA and has been for two decades! Today is not more talented. It only seems that way because of rule changes and it being less physical. Due to flopping, foul calls, lack of defense, and less physical play, players score more. Making it seem ultra talented. But it isn't at all. Alot of these players would truly struggle back then. And on the other side, the players then would excel today because of what more they could do. Young people fail to realize.

    Today's era is not more talented either. Guys have been jumping out of the gym since the 60's. Russell and Wilt were track stars in college. Wilt had a 48" vert at 7'1." A 5'7" Spud Webb won the dunk contest in '86 so I'm still wondering why people are saying"more talented." There's two incredibly slow European dudes dominating the NBA now, Jokic and Luka. I wouldn't call that more talent in the era of allowed rule breaking.

  • @bos3835
    @bos3835 Před měsícem

    The absurd comments that youngsters say about today's game is so outrageous and delusional it's frustrating to hear. What would make anyone think Jordan would be DeMar today in a league of NO TOUCH DEFENSE? DeMar grew up copying Kobe and Kobe copied everything Mike. So DeMar is a copy of a copy. There's a reason Kobe and Shaq didn't win in the 90's and a reason Jordan didn't win in the 80's. The further you go back it was tougher and more physical therefore harder to win a title. Today's era is not only the easiest but the weakest era of no rules with palming carrying and traveling allowed and no hand checking. AND1 Mixtape ball basically.

    I want to say I'm tired of everyone saying that LeBron James is a factor to Jordan cuz of era's when Jordan served Ray Allen, Tim Duncan, and even Kobe... 2 who had they foot on LeBron's neck the other his teammate who bailed him out to even win his championships so stop with that era shit cuz technically he already stepped on the greats in LeBron's era. Not to mention a few of them same guyshe stepped on put belt to LeBron's before and after he went to Miami so LeBron fans need to stop it with the " He played plumbers talk" unless Kobe, Ray Allen, and Tim Ducan are plumbers too, and dont make about they were young now cuz once a plumber aways a plumber ...

  • @Lawrene23

    This video does not show MJ full repertoire. He was more than a Slasher and driver to the Basket. His foot work and fundamentals were unmatched. His defense impeccable. He was a floor general. The defense was tougher in this era. No one plays defense even today on the level of Rodman, Dumars, David Robison, Kobe , Etc This league is talented but I wouldn’t say that much more than Reggie Miller Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton, Penny Hardaway, Grant Hill, Clyde Drexler Barkley, Isiah Thomas, Magic But this era is more talented? Karl Malone Hakeem Shaq Dr J

    LeBron is the dynasty...and Bron clears on the eye test, even Skip Bayless admitted he's the better on court talent...4-6 isn’t a bad thing lol…u celebrate losing before the finals…being 4-0 isn’t better, this isn't boxing or MMA, if it was we undefeated…only top player with a winning record in terms of chips won to seasons played is Bill Russell…Bron is the greatest…MJ was a complete loser without Pippen and Phil, MJ winning a fake DPOY that should be Hakeem's while Bron deserved his, and shooting the most to get scoring titles in a shit era that even had to shorten the 3pt line means nothing...Bron also deserved more MVPs and faced better comp to win…he also played on a team that won 55 games and made a playoff run without him...Bron’s rings/accolades and stats are way more impressive and valuable bc of the way better era Bron competed in…he clears anyway...LeBron teams was the underdog in 7/10 finals and still did this in the best eras...Bron also has the most playoff wins and playoff series wins in history with a high winning percentage...he has more accomplishments and stats...he is the GOAT...and Bron has a great assist to turnover ratio and is top 4 all time in assists...he also passed MJ in scoring on less shots in both the playoffs and regular season...LeBron wins in the finals>...half of those "losses" are bs bc he won his minutes by far

    Actually, if you look closely at #7, the defender stripped the ball from Jason while Jason was in the air. But Jason had the wherewithal to get the ball back and pass it to his team mate behind the back all before his feet hit the ground. Just amazing to do all of that so accurately in a split second. I do have to throw in, the NBA is the weakest it's been since the 70's. The game is very sloppy today, no defense, little teamwork, and few players have an all-round game. 80's/90's was definitely the NBA's Golden Era. It's not even close.
