Thank you for your comment. I don’t record sound on my videos, I tried and it turned what was a relaxing hobby into a stressful one.
Beautiful work. Question do you need to let your layers dry in between colors?
If I’m putting another colour on top I leave it, do another part then go back. It’s only left to dry for 2 -3 minutes.

I don’t have sound on my videos. I just record my process. I’m not a very confident person so talking is stressful.

Absolutely, although I wouldn’t fill the water brush instead have a pot of water. That way you can control how much water you are using
The ink you stamped the image with doesn't smear?
No, heat dry it or leave to air dry. The antique linen will take on the colour that’s painted on top 😁

Thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate it. I’m using the sweet Poppy water colour pens on this card, they are just like the zig ones but a fraction of the cost of zigs. I use Bockingford hot press watercolour card. ❤

Susan, I've been admiring your fabulous colouring for a few weeks and tried to emulate. Neither water brush or paint brush seem to do recreate your blending. Would you minding sharing what blending tool you are using? 💕
I just use a regular size 10 round head brush. Mine is from the Sheena Douglass essential collection so nothing special really. I would advise not using a water filled brush, I find it gives out too much water. I always soak my brush then squeeze the water out and repeat. When blending out the colour you need very little water I always dip it then wipe it on my kitchen paper and hardly dip again while using the same colour. Hope this helps

BEAUTIFUL! Questions: What is that circle contraption called? I am not understanding why you are putting the tape on flowers and then pulling off then back on again. Also where did you get the black water brush from and what type of ink is that you are using to make the flowers? Where did you purchase your watercolor paper and pens?
Hi Thank you The circle is a helix angle and circle maker I’m covering the flowers with masking paper it depends where the next flower is going as to which flower I cover. The brush is a Sheena Douglass number 10 brush from the essentials set I use Bockingford hot press watercolour paper from curtisward here in the UK The pens are kuratake real brush pens sold all over, just google them.
