My week in Leconfield

My week at the Natural Horsemanship course at Leconfield, an hour out of Tamworth, NSW. I had the best time there, learnt a lot, rode for hours every day and had heaps of fun with the others, the horses, dogs and Sylvester the cat. I recommend that anyone looking for a horsey-holiday while gaining new skills visit Leconfield and join them for a week of fun.

Four Seasons in one Ride

Trail ride for experienced riders on 15 March 2014 at Sydney Trail Riding Centre. We looked at the sky and hoped for the best :-). We managed to get in a nice long run up the hill before heading back and getting caught out by the rain, only to be surprised by bright sunshine 10 minutes later... Four seasons in one ride - and what a ride it was!

Our Christmas Gymkhana at Sydney Trail Riding Centre... Everyone was having a great time, including the ponies! The perfect way for the whole STRC team to finish off the year. brings back lots of great memories when my two children used to ride with RDA Silverstream. They are 21 and 17 years old now and don't ride anymore which is rather unfortunate. They will totally benefit from this regardless of how old they have become

Thanks, Sarah. It's a fantastic property. We have 500 acres to explore and it's heaps of fun :-). You guys should come visit sometime! (we always have a spare bed for guests and flights aren't that expensive hehe)

Thanks, Sarah :-). He is a beautiful boy and I love working with him. If I had more time / lived closer to him, I'd totally buy him, but at this point it just doesn't make sense and wouldn't be fair on him. He makes bareback easy, he's such a smooth ride. Hoping to put up more videos of him and Bonnie :-). How are you guys going? Hope you get some nice sunny days for ride up CK!

bitte bitte :) Och schade das ist leider ein wenig zu weit ( 6-7 Stunden oder länger) von mir entfernt aber wenn wir mal nach Bayern fahren werd ich da mal vorbeischauen;)
Danke schoen :-). Hatte leider Kameraprobleme und konnte deshalb gar nicht so viel filmen wie ich eigentlich wollte. Das ist Judy's Reistall in Schammelsdorf in der Naehe von Bamberg (Bayern). Habe dort reiten gelernt, als ich in der Grundschule war und habe es geliebt. 20 Jahre spaeter: jetzt lebe ich im Ausland (Neuseeland) und versuche bei meinen Heimatbesuchen mal vorbeizuschauen und hoffentlich auch mitzureiten :-)
ich mag das video voll :) wo ist denn der reitstall? sieht schön aus da und die pferde sehen irgenwie ausgeglichen aus;)
