My name is Shirley I was born and raised in the country on a farm. I have an amazing husband, 3 wonderful sons, 2 great daughter-n-laws and 2 of the most amazing grandsons ever.
Cooking is my passion I was taught to cook and grow my own herbs and vegetables by my mother and 2 grandmothers. They taught me how to cook ever kind of food you could possibly ever want to eat.

The Most Amazing Banana Bread / Diabetic Friendly Banana Bread
The Most Amazing Banana Nut Bread Recipe This recipe contains no add sugar!
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup brown sugar (Packed)
3 ripe banana (mashed)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 stick butter (room temperature)
1/2 cup pecans (divided)
2 eggs (beaten)
Preheat oven to 350 Bake for 45 to 60 minutes
In a bowl cream together butter and brown sugar until well combined then add eggs one at a time mixing after each one . Then add the vanilla extract and set aside.
In a med bowl combine the salt flour cinnamon and baking soda mix well and set aside
in a small bowl mash the three banana leaving small chucks
Next combine the bananas to the wet ingredients and mix well then add the dry ingredients trying not to over mix the bread.
Add to a sprayed or greased bread loaf pan and bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
