in June 2018 made a day trip to Lake como from Milan.. We had lunch at the beautiful Nuovo Hotel Metropole Bellagio, Italy on the waterfront. It was amazing. Food and view were wonderful. Next time I visit Lake Como, I plan to stay at the beautiful Hotel. It was near the ferry landing & close to all the lovely shops. I highly recommend this!

Great breakfast, par internet, good location. Dante, the concierge, was rude, abrasive, mocked me, and was overall unprofessional. If you want the whole story, read below. Our room's shower door did not block the water from flooding through the bathroom to the rooms carpet. I went to talk to the concierge Dante and when I said I would like a different room due to the flood he said in an abrasive tone 'You will not get new room! You need to close door.' After arguing with him he said he would check it out. Someone else came up to the room and determined that it was the doors faulty mechanism and not my fault for the flooding. I then went to talk to Dante again and he acted as though nothing happened. I coaxed him and said 'Changing rooms?' He said 'oh okay, here is your room.' I received a key to a lower floor with worse amenities and the room was not clean/ready. I proceeded back to the front desk to talk to him and he stated 'this is your room. No other rooms available.' In an abrasive tone. I stated to him that I paid for a room on the second floor and it was expensive. He proceeded to mock me saying '40 euro per person for night is not expensive! This is the room you get.' Not only was he incorrect on the pricing (was $225 USD for 2 nights), after his night shift was done, I received help from a very professional concierge and received a room right across the hall. In the morning prior to our flight Dante was working again. There was a 14 euro tax and I heard 10. When I handed him the 10 he proceeded in an abrasive tone 'NO, 14!' I've never been treated so poorly in my life. Sure, I am a man in his early 30's, American, I do not speak Italian but it does not give someone the right to treat someone so horribly.

4 étoiles à l'italienne!!!! Porte d'ascenseur la plus petite jamais vue(1 4*!!!!) terrasse fermée Vue directe sur le mur salle d'en face. Personnel aimable mais ce n'est pas suffisant pour 1 4*
