This scene. Hit me at some of my lowest times. I was depressed, dysphoric, i didnt really have any friends, i had just had the worst traumatic event in my entire life that im still struggling with. And this scene… it emotionally broke me. Im not gonna say it made me feel good. Because it didnt. But it really put into perspective how simple we all are. Were all people, living for different reasons, dying for different reasons. But were all still human. And that makes us special. The unique trait of human beings is our power of adaptation. And if i could summarize how this all fits together is that no matter what happens. Humans will always. ALWAYS. Find a way to keep moving forward. And i think this scene kinda punched me in the gut. And thats why i love it so much. Little by little they feed you little bite of hope. Mios “time is still on our side” line, and riku telling noah to draw lucky seven. Only to then dash all your hopes all at once. I think thats what makes me love and hate this scene equally. Its so real, and so tangible. Weve all been where noah was. Weve all suffered. I had no idea that X didn't show up in Origin unless you've beaten Eunie's quest. Which made me question how the game handles the possibility of the player killing X in the story and then triggering a sidequest that requires her to be alive.

I also really like the torna parallels, Jin was granted eternity, one he didn't want, and the path he saw stretched on forever, he saw this as hopeless.
