Tips and Tricks for a Well Behaved Jack Russell Terrier
I have lived with a Jack Russell for 6 years, & it STILL has death written ALL OVER it!!! That is NOT the dog I WANT, because The AKC does NOT, recognize that tiny breed!!! A Jack Russell is TINY, NOISY, & VERY FAST, & NOBODY in the family I live with, EVER wants to DO anything with it, to let ALL of its anxiety & aggression out of it!!! We are a LAZY FAMILY, & all they want to do, is to let my Jack Russell’s raging instincts go RAMPART, because they do NOT want to stop it from JUMPING UP!!! My mother says she wants to send my Jack Russell to a nearby animal shelter, so it can live with someone else, but my younger sister STILL holds her love strong for THAT tiny monster, so she is WAY too attached to it, & that can make my life with owning a Jack Russell even WORSE. Anybody that makes size, height, & weight comparison videos for dogs & wants to add Jack Russells in to them, should add PARSON Russells in to them. We live in a house, with a big fence-free yard, & they ALWAYS want to LET my Jack Russell run off somewhere AWAY from our house, when its frenzy mode kicks in outside. A Jack Russell’s bark is LOUD enough to match the same exact noise level of a fighter jet, & it kept me awake all night, EVERY NIGHT!!! And even I do not want to look after it, because I am NOT used to owning a small dog!!! Whenever I see cats that are NOT Maine Coons, or every time another person owns TOO MANY common house cats in their households I visit with, & my Jack Russell starts running up to them, I ALWAYS have to SAVE them FROM it, because the only cat breeds I want my Jack Russell to run up to, are Maine Coons!!! Every time I hear my Jack Russell’s footstep sounds, they ALWAYS bring back, BAD memories to come!!! Because living with a Jack Russell transformed me, from a cute, skinny teenager, to a fat adult, I am TOO LAZY to look AFTER it!!! I only want a PARSON Russell, & my Jack Russell STOPS me from doing ALL of the things I want to do. And because a Jack Russell is an aggressive SMALL dog, it does NOT, let me end up like Sakura Hibiki after SHE loses weight when I watched the anime series How Heavy Are The Dumbbells You Lift?, because when my Jack Russell’s frenzy mode turns ON, its LOUD bark, STOPS me from losing weight. And it only lets me put on weight, to stay like Kae Serinuma, from the anime series Kiss Him, Not Me, BEFORE SHE lost weight, & I do NOT want to LOSE it, because the smallest dog that lets me do ALL of THAT, is a German Pinscher, which is the smallest dog I WANT!!! And when I ALWAYS watch everybody’s videos for Dogs That Can Defeat Big Dogs And Big Predatory Animals In A Fight, that made me WISH I had some giant dog out there, that can put an END to my ongoing nightmare of owning Jack Russells. And any giant dog that can win in a fight against a Jack Russell, are the giant dogs that can win in a fight against the Jack Russell I ALREADY HAVE, even if it’s a giant dog that The AKC does NOT, recognize at all. 😢😢😢 😣😣😣 😫😫😫 😩😩😩 😓😓😓 😥😥😥 😞😞😞 🥶🥶🥶 😨😨😨 😰😰😰 🤯🤯🤯 🤕🤕🤕 🤒🤒🤒 😿😿😿 🥺🥺🥺 😠😠😠 🥵🥵🥵 😖😖😖 😡😡😡 🤬🤬🤬 😤😤😤 😾😾😾 👿👿👿
Thank you for sharing your experience with your Jack Russell. It's clear that you care about your pet and want the best for it. Have you thought about reaching out to a local rescue or trainer for support?
If any of this bothers you, you shouldn't have a cat.

Lose the music. Too hard to listen to.
These AI infotainment things are awful. I really hope this trend is short-lived.
This is so bad. I only watched it to the end cause I was laughing so hard at all the mistakes. Plus a monotone AI voice, repeating the same phrases to death. It's a bad classic!
We have a fox terrier who was hard to train but with repetition and patience.... lots of patients, he is a very good boy now at 5 years old but we really had to bond with him before we could train him. Even now he will instantly obey if it's me or my father but won't always obey anyone else. Fox Terriers are very intelligent dogs and very loyal.
My little girls just loves to cuddle me although she can be very demanding for belly rubs, head rubs , stroking etc as long as she is the one being petted. She is very fierce protecting me and what she considers her territory! She can be quite playful even though she is 9 years old.She also sleeps in my bed. I think I spoil her too much. 😊

A German Shepherd is far far better than a Doberman.
Why no Cane Corso?
These dogs are best breed of all dogs. 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕
Adorable ❤
No German Shepherds? ☝️🥴
Thanks for pointing that out! I'll definitely include some German Shepherds in the next video.
We have 2 females….each one has one of the two temperaments you describe here. One very laid back and one very active and outgoing. But most importantly, both are super intelligent and easy to train. I’ve not seen this mentioned on any of these sites, but I have one that is called a “ babydoll” with longer legs, neck, ears and body and one called the “ teddy bear “ shorter, square little body and smaller ears. Both are purebred with excellent backgrounds. We take them everywhere with us. They love people and especially little children. These two little girls are the light of our lives!💖🤗👍👍
Hello, how difficult is it when they have cycles?
Don't leave out their remarkable ability to shed hair daily, causing the use of a dyson regularly. AND THEY TAKE MOST OF THE COUCH.❤😂
Very smart dogs ❤
These are only issues if you're not willing to put in the proper time, effort and training. You're essentially just saying "don't get this dog if you're a lazy irresponsible piece of shit". The only dark truth here is about the owners.
Lol
Dam mine doesn't have alot of energy and is a calm dog some misinformation for some people
You skipped Papillons
I totally agree! My lab is a perfect dog. He's almost 13 so I treasure each day I have with him while I can.
I've had many Yorkies, and the females are MUCH more territorial and dominant. Much. The temperament of the males is more easy-going, sweet, and gentle. Females are more sassy and independent. The males I've had were also easier to train.
Not ALL giant dogs live a short life or die young. They say that ONE giant dog, The Iranian Mastiff, can live for up to 17 years!!!
I had a good friend in Wyoming who died of cancer in 2018. She had made arrangements for her 7-year-old Corgi to move in with a couple in Montana. Nobody’s fault, it didn’t work out. I was Plan B, living in the Arizona high desert, and they drove him all the way down here. For the first year he didn’t really want a lot to do with me. We got along all right but the poor little guy had lost his person, then his fosters, and now he was stuck with this strange desert beardo and he had a hard time loving it. He was a pleasant little guy but very serious. I never saw much of that goofy Corgi grin. But after about a year he rather suddenly seemed to decide that this was all right after all. He wanted to come with me when I left, learned to love Jeep rides, and oh my god there were cattle! Cattle came right into the yard, and by God he knew just what to do with them too. He’d fly off the porch, round up the (bewildered) cows and their calves, and push them right out of the yard, down the wash, and then come prancing back to the porch triumphant. I never laughed so hard. We really got to be buddies that second year. Then the little bastard got lymph cancer and was dead inside a month. Broke my heart.
CORGI WORLD DOMINATION 😤😤
What about the Polar Bear? And other predators in the Arctic Mainland(s) ? Alaska, Greenland, and Arctic Norway/Sweden/Finland/Western Russia? Are weather itself a predator, i.e. the cold? 🤔
Agreed, with climate change, weather is definitely a predator. The cold, extra heat, hurricanes etc. We will be doing a video on Polar Bears in the near future.
Dont forget the part where they are vicious, have mood swings like you wouldnt believe, and will rip your face off if given half the chance.
So… just like most dogs?
Sounds like a cat too 😂😂😂
My kind of dog
So it's a cat for those in denial
Why didn't you take Belgian Sheperds under one... the Malenois, Groenendal and Lakenois? And some of these breeds DID NOT have POINTED ears (standing up) And Inu on top, seriously?
I don't think this is a true about yorkies and misinformed...
I don't agree with territorial marking and borders. My next door has a boy yorkie and my girl scares him to death. It's all about how you train your dog. I'm done @02:59 mark.
True on the coats but i don't agree with the size. Those are toy size, not very common.
ACK The Yorkshire Terrier is a compact, toy-size terrier of no more than seven pounds whose crowning glory is a floor-length, silky coat of steel blue and a rich golden tan.
Official Standard of the Yorkshire Terrier General Appearance: That of a long-haired toy terrier whose blue and tan coat is parted on the face and from the base of the skull to the end of the tail and hangs evenly and quite straight down each side of body. The body is neat, compact and well proportioned. The dog's high head carriage and confident manner should give the appearance of vigor and self-importance. Head: Small and rather flat on top, the skull not too prominent or round, the muzzle not too long, with the bite neither undershot nor overshot and teeth sound. Either scissors bite or level bite is acceptable. The nose is black. Eyes are medium in size and not too prominent; dark in color and sparkling with a sharp, intelligent expression. Eye rims are dark. Ears are small, V-shaped, carried erect and set not too far apart. Body: Well proportioned and very compact. The back is rather short, the backline level, with height at shoulder the same as at the rump. Legs and Feet: Forelegs should be straight, elbows neither in nor out. Hind legs straight when viewed from behind, but stifles are moderately bent when viewed from the sides. Feet are round with black toenails. Dewclaws, if any, are generally removed from the hind legs. Dewclaws on the forelegs may be removed. Tail: Docked to a medium length and carried slightly higher than the level of the back. Coat: Quality, texture and quantity of coat are of prime importance. Hair is glossy, fine and silky in texture. Coat on the body is moderately long and perfectly straight (not wavy). It may be trimmed to floor length to give ease of movement and a neater appearance, if desired. The fall on the head is long, tied with one bow in center of head or parted in the middle and tied with two bows. Hair on muzzle is very long. Hair should be trimmed short on tips of ears and may be trimmed on feet to give them a neat appearance. Colors: Puppies are born black and tan and are normally darker in body color, showing an intermingling of black hair in the tan until they are matured. Color of hair on body and richness of tan on head and legs are of prime importance in adult dogs, to which the following color requirements apply: Blue - Is a dark steel-blue, not a silver-blue and not mingled with fawn, bronzy or black hairs. Tan - All tan hair is darker at the roots than in the middle, shading to still lighter tan at the tips. There should be no sooty or black hair intermingled with any of the tan. Color on Body: The blue extends over the body from back of neck to root of tail. Hair on tail is a darker blue, especially at end of tail. Headfall: A rich golden tan, deeper in color at sides of head, at ear roots and on the muzzle, with ears a deep rich tan. Tan color should not extend down on back of neck. Chest and Legs: A bright, rich tan, not extending above the elbow on the forelegs nor above the stifle on the hind legs. Weight: Must not exceed seven pounds. Disqualifications: Any solid color or combination of colors other than blue and tan as described above. Any white markings other than a small white spot on the forechest that does not exceed 1 inch at its longest dimension. Approved July 10, 2007 Effective October 1, 2007
@@dustinolney3977 I’ve been raising Yorkies for 30 years but thx your the drab
My females weigh 10-12 pounds, and my boy was 13 pounds. My female now is 11 pound 3 yo old. She a little chunky but all my babies are bigger.
I've been raising yorkies for 30 years so this should be interesting.
I didn’t know I was “an advanced dog lover”, but I must be after 3 basset hounds! 😂
Thank you for all the good information
WOW 🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊
My little she/her is awesome. LOL
Hachi is such a legend
I have both a male & female Yorkie. My male is nothing like what this describes, except the fatter mention. My female is more dominant & territorial. She even mounts the male, who spends most of his day sleeping on his back. He does bark when his outside, but has no desire to go anywhere other than from his bed to outdoors for short periods & back to sleep; also very interested in food ALL DAY. My female is always wandering off looking for trouble and the most finicky eater. Mostly will only nap with me, if that, and is much more energetic. In fact, she goes around to wake everyone up or rattle them up if she thinks the morning is going to slow. She barks at me to get out of bed sometimes.
Mine are just like yours. This wasn't a very informative video and leads people to believe what I believe is uninformed information.
why do you make a video on lifespan and not mention them?
I raised them for 35 years. They are the king of dogs.
