SoundSwitch Demo
Phone camera doesn't capture this very well, but you get the idea. I also didn't capture the moving head gobos as they danced around the venue.

for one song show is nice but you still need to do lots of manual changes to soundswitch to make it do that. dont tell people if you buy soundswitch thats what they will get lol. I know it, I have it, dobt get me wrong is an awesome software.
Great video!🙌
Thanks!
Great stuff. Just one question. I have mapped a song right? Or it was automatic from serato?
This was manually created. It was NOT using the Autoscript feature
Hi there I am new to this what is sound switch how does it work also where do you get this kind of lighting what is it called thanks
You can find more details about SoundSwitch at www.soundswitch.com. The lights I used in this video are in the description. Have fun! It's a blast.
Grear show!
Where do the cool columns come from?
These are Chauvet DJ Trusst Glo Totems with lights inside them.
Should of kept the camera from moving about. Tripod maybe?
getting back knto djing after.10 years off. i.feel like.lighting is more.important than ever especially intelligent light shows. is it true that soundswitch builds a show based off each song? is this video an.exame.of that??
While the default shows are OK... this one was custom.
How is there no version of this that you don’t have to pay monthly fees?
$200 lifetime
Tal vez con un poco de humo se vería mucho mejor saludos, muy buen video
Amazing ! This all auto?
No, this was manually created.
So dope nice work
That was awesome. I have a few questions. Did you auto script then tweet the school gripped? Also for the lights in the totem and even for the façade but the chase affect auto pilot light inside the totem using the same DMX address or do you have to have them at all separate DMX address to cause a chase effect?
Thanks! This was not auto-scripted. I started from scratch. Each light in the totems are on a separate DMX channel. There are features in the application that make these kind of chases easy to set up.
is that pre programed or did you program it for that track?
I'm pretty sure he programmed that himself
This is one that I scripted myself.
BAD ASSSSSS!!!!! Love it!!!!! I just purchased it just now!!!!
Lit
You need fog. Cant see what your moving heads are doing
I totally agree! Unfortunately, the venue didn't allow fog/haze.
Hey great vid I've just ordered pretty much the same setup you have. I have had Soundswitch for a few days now. its a little intimidating at first but love it now.
Fantastic set up. All of the lights up lights? Moving heads? Totems? Are DMX to Soundswitch?
Beautiful set up👍🏾
Can I pay you to program some songs for me? lol but I'm for real... I'll pay you.
Very nice. Would love this script
Wow! Awesome! 😎
DJDynamight Thanks!
that looks amazing
Great job here, good uses of chases and not just working off the master track!
nice! check out some of the stuff I have been putting out on my page.czcams.com/video/B59IblOz4lc/video.html
Great presentation dude. Love it.
I'm wondering what mode you are using for the Rotosphere Q3? I'm using 9 channel mode and having issues with my Rotosphere staying on all the time. I can't figure out how to keep it off until I set the Attribute Cue. I am using autoscript to set up the light show and then manually adjusting my effect lights with Attribute Cues. I'm guessing you manually scripted this from start to end?
This looks great! Awesome job! Would you mind answering a couple questions? Have you tried the automatic programming yet? Can you isolate certain colors when the music isn’t playing for uplighting purposes? Have you tried it with slow songs? Your help is really appreciated!
Yes, automatic programming is OK. Right now, the automatic programming can be a lot of pulses (full on - ramp down to full off) on the 1/4 beats. This can be too much if all your songs are this way. It's easy to go in and remove this for part (or all) of a song and create your own. You can isolate certain colors for uplighting. Yes, slow songs work as well... really depends on your lights and imagination.
@@htguyinus Do you know a way to keep the manually programmed parts? I loose all my work every time I add a fixture.
Nice set up & great demo ... got me intrigued now lol
Glad I could help. =)
Do all of the lights have there own individual DMX channel?
Harry Gelpke it’s a mix. Each totem uplight is in its own channel. The two pixel lights on the facade and the Rotospheres are each on the same DMX channel. Any time you want something unique for your show, you’ll need to be able to control it separately. Hope that makes sense.
HT Guy. Thank you. I love the sample show!!!! How much did you customize it or did the program do it all?
I customized the entire song. It took me less than 15 minutes... and I'm still learning the program.
Thank you Finally someone doing a video that showcases the potential. One question do you know if you are able to restrict moving head lights to just a certain area using soundswitch?
Thanks for the comment. Glad this helps. Regarding the moving heads: What I do is program the approximate positions ahead of time and then when I get to the venue, select each moving head position and move it appropriately for the venue. Hope that makes sense.
When you program moving heads in SoundSwitch, you create the "target" points in the software. So like, I have Left, Right, Cross, Wide, Up, Down, etc. - and you can have as many of those as you want. If your positions are all dance floor facing, then your moving heads will stay in those areas. It's not choosing new locations like a sound-active mode, or auto program might.
Please make a tutorial video!! The best video for SoundSwitch I've seen. It's realistic and the design was on point! I have SoundSwitch, but I can't find a good tutorial video on it. Please...please please make one!!
Did you program that song or is auto?
MrShaston1 I programmed this one.
Would you be able to do a video of the same song programmed on auto create. I'd love to see what this thing programs on its own as doing those individually would be TIME CONSUMING. Thanks a bunch if you're able!
Fantastic presentation. You really have learned how to manipulate SoundSwitch.
