    yea i'm actively looking for one now. I had one back in the day when they came out. I like this car so much cuz it's not tooo loaded up with all this worthless tech that new cars have. I like that there's no buttons all over the steering wheel. No touch screen. Nice mechanical feel. Not too much refinement. They're just right. I like how they sit sooo low. Feels like a cheap acura nsx wtih the view out the front. They look really good to me. I like that it has all the room in the back for my stuff. Cant get that in most sports cars. It's fast enough and handles well enough for the road. Get great mileage and is cheap to own. So yea. I can't think of anything I'd rather have for something I'm actually gonna use all the time. The bad thing is the prices are going up, and they're hard to find.

    This engine is very reliable. For those with break engine the cause is oem oil pan if race the car and pass 1.1g lateral pressure die from oil starvation and need baffled aftermarket oil pan for sure👍 With good maintenance can pass easily the 200.000 miles i know examples with over 300.000 like new without repairs and issues. Also the internals is very robust can hold about 400hp with stock internals! But is little risky! With lower compression the 400bhp is safe.

    • @jamesc7286
      @jamesc7286 Před 7 měsíci

      Not anymore. I had a 2016 Mazda6 manual, and it started falling apart at a young age. I got out of it and into a Tacoma before it got out of control. Failed blind spot monitoring, failed fuel rail/injector, the driver's seat's upholstery started cracking, despite the fact that I wear gentle clothes and not things like blue jeans with rivets that can damage it. There were other weird electrical gremlins. The combination of a manual transmission and an e-parking brake is just stupid. Even when the blind spot monitoring worked, it completely ignored motorcycles which was of course dangerous. I don't need BSM, but if it is in place and claims to work it NEEDS to work 100% of the time. The paint job was also thin and not durable. Not a terrible car, but not a good one either. I also take painstakingly good care of my cars. I never miss a service interval, and I don't subscribe to the 10K oil change nonsense. I also live in an area not conducive to rust. I had an '05 Mazda 3 manual which was the best car I have ever owned. The '16 6 was just garbage quality in comparison. They tried to make too nice of a car on too little of a budget. Beware of brand loyalty. To ANY brand.

    Noticed your transmission fluid is leaking out of the bottom bolts which seems to be a common issue due to aluminum bolts stretching. My R8 dual clutch is doing the same thing but seems to be insignificant. I've changed the transmission fluid once on mine and hope to check the fluid level soon now that I'm a year past that change.

      @siouxfallsr8639 Před 9 měsíci

      @@theclumsytank I think others have tried to tighten the bolts but that doesn't help and could even make it worse. There is a company that makes titanium replacement bolts but that requires removing the transmission so it's a big job. I think it's just a situation to monitor to make sure large amounts aren't leaking.
