A friend gave me darkness 2 when I was in highschool, really liked the concept, played the darkness 1 when I was in college and dang, the ps3 had so many gems!!

I love the fact that in this game you can watch full episodes of cartoons and movies!

the dialogue in the game is hella cheesy, but the voice acting totally sells it. no cap this the best voice acting ive heard in a video game

I still have my copy of this game and it thought me a lot back when i was a kid I will never ever give or sell this masterpiece
I remember playing this as a kid and being confused, but in awe at how Jackie talked about his plan and knowledge. I kept thinking how lost I would have been trying to X someone powerful like Paulie.
This game has the best loading screens of any video game. No video game has ever made me curious to watch its loading screens except this one.
Hope we get The darkness 3 one day.

This game is great. I love it
The loading screen Monologues were a great way to fill in loading time and keep the audience's attention. Plus, you really get to see Jackie as a character and not just a conduit.

this series deserves a remake and a 3rd game after the cliffhanger in the 2nd, i loved the darkness when i played it way back in the day(give it take a few things like when you ran out of ammo you had to pick up a new gun)

You missed one from memory there was a loading screen where Jacki was talking about missing Jenny's funeral.

I like seeing the subway stations as meat balls and the tracks as spaghetti, its kinda cute.

Stupid comparison. This is too good to bother with anything else. But Alien Isolation is pretty good. Among others. But it definitely isn't this. And this game doesn't matter to many people, even people who have noticed it. Don't act like an old man. Either admit that you're kinda done with video games, or just find some new meat. "Back in my day" is something really awefull .

@@PlayNiceFolks Alien isolation is not a fps. And it was released in 2014, back when good games were still made. Today it's only SJW scum and japanese games. Modern western game industry is awful.

I love (and I mean LOVE) the "Go Tell Aunt Rhody" versions of the RE7 trailers, but holy crap this was good. Great job, wonderful use of the song, and we'll put together.
This seriously should have been the opening song to the trailer and the theme in the game.
The House of the Rising Sun is kinda one of the most overused songs in human history tho.
