Homemade Chicken Wonton Soup - Easy Recipe
Hello Everyone, if you love a good chicken noodle soup during the cooler weather or when you down with a cold, you will definitely love this homemade Chicken Wonton Soup. It is absolutely easy to make and I promise you, it will soon be your go-to homemade soup.
Tips:
1. Wontons: Make the chicken wontons ahead of time and freeze them so that it is ready to use. You can take the frozen chicken wontons and drop them into the boiling broth, you do not need to thaw them out. 2. Broth: Use your favorite broth whether it is chicken broth, vegetable broth, or bouillon base. Add fresh ginger and/or garlic if you'd like.
3. Vegetables: Add your favorite vegetables. Get creative - try adding tofu, Bok Choy, Chinese Spinich (Kai Lan), mushrooms, cabbage, baby corn, carrots, celery, Napa Cabbage, broccoli, etc.
4. Garnish: Try topping it off with chive or cilantro. Add a dash of sesame oil, if desired.

Ma is much better than before I"m proud to learn all of them. I don"t even know how to say it.
Your way is a lot easier. My sister taught me a little different. Boil the fish with Nga pe and lemon grass. Then you made fish curry like you. Toast the rice and grind it and add all of those to the broth. I am gonna try your way then I don't have to boil the fish. Yum My mouth is watering watching you cook.
Hope you enjoy it Kalya! What your sister taught you is also a good method - it's our traditional Myanmar way of cooking. However, if you can simplify and make things easier ... it is so much more enjoyable to make Mohinga!

I have tried to like tofu, but it just doesn't work for me. I did have it once at the chinese buffet. It was kind of like what you made but with bok choy instead of spinach, and it seemed to have a lot more soy sauce. I really enjoyed it. I was wondering if that was firm tofu? Isnt gnapi added to this dish...but i doubt most ppl would be able to stand its flavour.
Yes, you can definitely add "gnapi" (shrimp paste/fish paste), it definitely adds a more rich flavor and stronger aroma. If you live in the US and can't find gnapi, my dad used to add some anchovies to achieve that richness!
