Cool video! One thing I just noticed, the halfway point when the ride changes directions. The lift arm stops first, then the wheel comes to a complete halt, starts in the opposite direction, then the lift arm picks back up in its opposite. It’s a little different than the original Trabant, which would let the wheel spin while the arm stops, then at the same moment the arm moves in the opposite direction, the wheel would stop right on queue. I wonder if that kind of difference is done by the operator or if it’s a genuine discrepancy between the classic Trabant and the newer Wipeouts.

Ps they used to have a similar ride like this at Adventure Island Southend-on-Sea. You shoot like your lazer gun at your opponents and they would lower down.
