Absolutely love the 396 with electrics, such a better route now. These things are so fast and genuinely sound amazing too. Idk why only a select few people like myself and @GTransit who genuinely really like electric buses.
They’re quiet, they’re comfortable, they’re smooth, they’re better for the environment… like when it comes to picking between this and a sluggish, loud, nasty enviro, I’d pick this any day, so enjoy this EV getting up to speeds in the 396.

I really like these buses, think they’re one of the better electric buses in operation at the moment. Only downside is the really loud fan at the back, hence why I moved, so I can hear the bus a little more. Enjoy. Copyright GEORGE on buses 2024.

Today, 2 Electroliners ventured out onto the 247, one being an LV73 from the 86 batch (the one I got) and a brand new Vision zero Electroliner, destined for the 242 (82051). Icl, this suits the 247 so much and will be the future allocation of the route, so enjoy. Copyright GEORGE on buses 2024.

Not too long ago now, stagecoach rolled out almost all of their destined electroliners on the 86. Most of the Enviro 400s from NS are currently sitting in LI, however a few went down to PD to see out the last of the Scania Omnicity, and one went to BK coz why not…. Here is the bad news! BL64 MHM and other 212 buses tower transit has switched into crappy metroline
The things is, I love these MMC BYDs as the motor is clear and concise so you can really hear it at speed even from the outside.. however other electric counterparts aren’t so characteristic like the BZLs which it why I get turned off with those
I agree with what you're sayinh to a certain extent but it's the sound of vehicles that top it for me. Take B7RLE Eclipse 2s, they're very powerful and smooth but they just don't sound special enough. I'm a massive petrol head and it's the same story with cars, I want to hear a unique individual noise. I'm not bothered about how they are powered necessarily, I just want vehicles to be fun.
