@user-jo4sm9go4r damn thats a mcfarlane army forsure!💪🏼🔥 those threads are some old stitch string I got from a sewing kit to tie around his ball joint because the left leg got loose on me over time. It's just a way of adding friction between the joint for a tighter function. I forgot to mention that in the review. I'll say the batch 1 version feels very tight compared to batch 2 so far, but we'll see if it holds up over time

Cause that would be a tough one to narrow down lol if you mean Spidey figures I'd say the Mcfarlane Spider-Man aka Wall Climbing Spider-Man from toybiz has to be top 3 for me. But they made a lot of other great spideys too it's just that one has a look I think most ppl want and articulates very well. The amazing fantasy figure from hasbro is a strong release imo. It actually looks a lot like the comics, has alternate hands and a web effect and poses very well. I'd recommend it if you can find it for a decent price. I wouldn't say it's worth more than 25-30. Even that's kinda a lot.

@samoodustani5198 I hear you. I never minded them personally I think they bend in well enough with the sculpt and the paint is at least matching unlike a lot of modern day figures. Plus the range it allows is exceptional for the figure so I'm all for it. Kinda wish more figures has the joint

He had an error on release thay was pretty funny 🤣. The dark knight figures they made as well and even a batman begins ver. There's a tom Hardy Bane. And there's no mafex green goblin for no way home as of yet but I would think they're gonna make one now thay all 3 spideys are being made. SH Figuarts has one that's pretty good but I think mafex would up them. Oh ya dude mafex would kill some godzillas and kaijus I think but Hiya toys has me sold as of rn for the monsters haha. Solid stuff here I'd love to see too. 👌🏼🔥 You actually just reminded me Kang was supposed to be on this list he's a BIG one I want to see!!

You think so? I think it looks a lot like Andrew tbh. In fact I was gonna compare it to movie images in an upcoming video. Interesting take tho! There are a lot of similarities in the Tobey and TASM2 costumes and I plan to address all of that👌🏼

@@biospider3.068 I don’t know I could be wrong for a reason. The figure doesn’t look completely like Andrew Garfield Spidey that’s for sure.

@theprodigiousspiderstarTM I feel you. it could be the head sculpt as many have said he has a bit of a peanut head. I think body wise it's 100% Andrew cause it's lanky while still having muscle shape in the right places. Another thing that might be reminding you of Tobey is the lenses because they can seem thin or angular from a distance. The marvel legends probabaly has a more accurate width to the the head where as this one is a lil on the slim side. But as I look at it all I see is Andrew's Spidey. Just me tho🤷🏽‍♂️

His cost varies I believe retail from mafex was around between 100 and 130 but after market prices tend to be a lot more. On bigbadtoystore I think he was around 189. Amiami seems to have him for 12,630 yen which comes out to about 80 US dollars. Might be the cheapest option rn. Be sure to check my figure Websites video on the channel for more options!

Damn sorry to hear that!🥲 I highly recommend the mafex for your follow up. It is pricey but well worth it imo. You will get the most out of it meaning very good articualtion, excellent sculpt and detail, and all movie weapons on one set. It's the best 1/12th scale all around fig probably besides the three zero version which as far as I know just has an led light over this version.

@@biospider3.068 Yep I was younger then and didn't use them correctly but My recent figs are all fine. I found him on a sale now and if I save some more it's a good deal.I've been also meaning to ask, is it hard to remove the forearm to put the weapons ? Because I don't want to break it by trying to put on weapons

@jimgionis I hear you. I played with my toys rough when I was young. As an adult I've definitely learned to handle them better haha. And as far as changing the forearms out for weapons it's actually pretty simple! You don't have to pull with a lot of force, just kinda pinch the sides by the elbow and pull out. Some of the weapons have clear little rods that you pull out first before inserting onto the figure. You reminded me to add more to my description lol thanks!

@MiniMultiverse well this is the mark 50 by Mafex but they have a mark 85 figure also that was actually released before hand. I would say the mafex versions of both are solid even though I don't have the 85 in hand just yet. I can say though mafex did a better job with the likeness for RDJ on the 85, but the Shf does include blast effects for the lightning refocuser whereas mafex does not. I guess it just depends on what's more important to you if that makes sense. Also you'll be able to swap the tony head with this mark 50 from the 85 from mafex so that's a plus in my eyes

@@biospider3.068 true I want the standard 85 but after market is in the 200s so if I get a mafex it’s either 50 or battle damaged 85 which has almost no accessories compared to the previous releases. That’s why I’m debating this one or Shf but thanks
