Unfortunately, due to your inability to pick that door "near" the end, you've missed out on a massive amount of "loot". Nothing special necessarily, but a TON of loot nonetheless. Plus the whole ending to the questline.

1:47 Unlucky. When you die the only thing you lose is what you were carrying outside of your inventory, so the chest for example, will drop where you died. The trident is great for dealing with underwater enemies. Like treasure, the Trident can't be stored, only dropped. How you finding it so far? Can be a lot of fun, only, watch out for PVP players, a lot of them are assholes and will just spawn camp for the hell of it...
