Why did this performer play fortissimo whistle tone bars instructed to play softly on the last page?
What a virtuoso !!! to get to this level one must renounce to all the pleasures of life and dedicate all his time to the guitar
i dont now. really :-(
It was published in Germany: Claus H. Henneberg and Peter Eötvös, 1997, G. Ricordi and Co., Bühnen-und Musikverlag GmbH, Munchen. Well I haven't check whether it's written in Russian characters or whether it's, like the one I have, a transcription in western alphabet. I mean my russian version is like this : "Mouzyka igraïèt tak bodro!"
It reminds me a little bit to Scriabin
Amazing production! Bravissimi tutti especially Oleg Ryabets with his unbelievably beautiful voice, acting skills and physical beauty! Such a feast! Thanks for posting. <3
Maravilloso!! desde Argentina que lindo ver esto!!!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
LOL
Music and Bel Canto please. The composers nowadays are 0.
you are absolutely right
The guy playing the sick one is great. I remember Daniel Belcher as a student at the Julliard School. He was always in the practice rooms.
One thing I noticed right away when learning this, is the multi-layered ambiguity. The Tristan chord is an unresolved appagiatura of a diminished 7th, the dim7th having at least 8 possible resolutions. It only ALMOST almost resolves. Wagner, you tease.
Absolutely amazing!
Say 'ora ora ora'with an 'h' at the beginning (czcams.com/video/UgZFpO_Y6qo/video.html).
The play is being performed in theatre in South Korea here. But not a chance for the opera. As a Big fan of the great composer, Thank you so much.
Really weird that he didn’t chose to use wagners concert ending
Really loved this work. This must be the fourth time I am watching this opera. Thank you so much for posting this.
scriabinesque
I LOOOOVE THIS
Onde posso conseguir essa partitura?
Yep, it sounds like when I’m trying to play my flute vertically
Not gonna lie, this is an incredible show but holy shit i was not ready for 2 hours and 20 minutes scale singing
i´v seen opera 2x live and always fantastic
What key does it end on?
Cm
Saluti.
It's actually quite harder to learn then one would expect, a lot of notes, but surely worth the hard work! I plan on playing this and the Liszt Liebestod transcription back to back :) I love how it sounds on the piano.
it´s not that difficult to play, because Mr. Kocsis was pianist and everything is in your hand. looks wild, but possible. Not saying that is easy, but possbile. ican play that
@@notenleser Yeah I finished learning it and playing it in Concert, just before the Liebestod, I loved doing that! Just the scales part was hard for me, the rest is fine once you've learned it.
@@rafaelloretan2275 How much more difficult is the Liebestod compared to this? Did you play the Liszt version?
@@mikheildgebuadze1506 The scales are annoying but the rest is fine it took me longer to learn Liebestod but I also feel more confortable playing Liebestod, it's "better" written if you know what I mean, more pianistic the Prelude is a little more clunky.
Świry kręcą światem
Eccellente trascrizione.
This is the "Einleitung" (prelude) of the opera as transcribed by the pianist. On the Philips recording it is part of the same track and followed by the "Liebestod" as transcribed by Liszt. Too bad the uploader didn't include the latter, which plays for 5m34s.
A better translation for prelude is "Vorspiel".
left hand from hell
On the final page, the whistle tones are in ppp...why the performer plays the ffff high notes?
artist freedom? :-)
Greatest build-up in history

anyone know where i can find the score for this? or if you can send me it at csarver3@hotmail.com that would be nice too
Did you ever find the transcription?
@@VetteMAE2 nope. i kinda gave up

Does anyone else imagine a movie scene where the main character is playing this while the world ends?
you should watch Melancholia
Yeah, literally Melancholia. Get ready lol it's the feel good movie everyone needs in 2020. This prelude is basically the soundtrack.
Could you send me the score? bir0410@naver.com
hi, i lost it :(
@@notenleser I'm so sorry to hear that TT
Absolutely fantastic transcription and performance from Mr Kocsis!
Andrei Cristian Anghel yes, it is.
❤❤❤👍👍👍
hey, why is this piece called Hora? It resembles some Romanian melodic folk structures, but Romanian hora is way slower (what one can here sometimes in Enescu or in Bela Bartok). Rhythmically, this resembles Romanian sârba, for instance: czcams.com/video/pbzHcgLv_1M/video.html
Based on author's own description: "Hora - Romanian dance"
