He gave us all of himself. It’s always sad when someone you’re a fan of dies, but this one is the one that hurts the most. I didn’t know him (save for the time I was a teenager and accosted him after a Soundgarden show, but he was gracious and handled it better than I did). So many years, bands and solo albums, he really did give us everything. So beautiful, so talented, and golden vocal cords. I wish he could have made it through, and I wish he’d had a different way of getting through. But what do I know, I just know he left us a legacy of talent.

I grew up on Chris Cornell, my mother was pregnant with me when they went to see Audioslave, my whole life and music was molded by Audioslave, Soundgarden, and his solo work. I was so lucky to have seen him before he died, as I was 18. It was the best concert of my life. I wept when he died. And now seeing this video, knowing he died in the town I was born, his Led Zeppelin “Eulogy”, and the roar of his last vocal note, he deserved six sets of wings

WOW! I am absolutely disgusted, angered & saddened that NO ONE was concerned for his safety while seeing this performance. It is so glaringly obvious that he is under the influence (including prescribed meds for anxiety)). As a medical profession, is just further evidence of the ignorance of the stigma of mental illness & addiction (it’s called dual diagnosis ppl - Google it). This world lost yet another beautiful soul to the powerful BIOLOGICAL BRAIN DISEASE called addiction.

Chris Cornell was murdered. No-one says "we'll see you soon, be safe," and then goes and hangs themselves. Like Howard Stern said, there's no way Chris Cornell killed himself. Watch this again and notice the level of energy he was on, he was on a high elevated level of energy. The highest levels of energy are love, joy, peace, acceptance, neutrality, and such like, the highest level being enlightenment. Chris Cornell was a smart guy, he spent his whole life ascending to the highest levels of consciousness. His own wife Vicki Cornell said Chris didn't willingly commit suicide. How can people just believe what they're told? How can people not see the truth?! Chris I love you man. I've got your back. I know you did not kill yourself. I hope you made it to Heaven. I think it's easier than most people say. All who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Still surreal that he's gone, watching this. I guess that this is what the internet allows. There were artists that made a profound impact and impression on the people that got the chance to see them, but since it was around the mid 1800's or so, there's no way to relive it like this here.
