Honestly, I have the same problem lol. I actually haven’t killed an adult carno as an adult cerato yet, nor really any carnos at my cerato’s age if it isn’t full adult. If I run into one at some point though Ill definitely record it if possible, I think you really do have to be more wary with cerato but I also think using mostly charged bites and alt bites when possible get the most damage out and you can beat a carno that way. So if carno is chasing, be cautious and use charged bites. If you end up facetanking, try alt biting but also trying to dodge here and there. Im no pro but hope this helps lol!

@@farinay9994 eh, I think ceras weight is ok, I hear it gets a huge defense buff around large bodies so that’s where cera really shines

@@dtbrex08 the problem of only getting this buff around bodies for a dino that's super slow for its size is kind of devastating 😅 he was supposed to be bully now you should be extra cautious 90 percent of times cause there is no body , and also for dino that relies on agility not getting hit to survive(cause it's low hp just can't take punishment) getting out of body range is pretty easy and now you don't have your buff 🙂 , like cera (aside from carno matchup) is pretty fu king good its just he is not what he was supposed to be and he is good for other reasons.

Eh, I think they could make some adjustments but the body range is pretty far so you can dodge stuff without having to run far away, and I think cerato is tanky enough to where it doesnt die too fast to a carno but it definitely doesn’t feel AS tanky as it is with a large corpse. But I see your point.

@@XxVyladYTxX yeah I saw you’ve commented on my other videos lol, allo is awesome honestly, really strong and awesome sound design. I think it was one of the first 5 carnivores I grew as well.

@@dtbrex08 ok just making sure lol allo was my fav from the beginning because it was a decent carnivore and fast unlike the spino (im not counting rex bc it wasnt added when i played) which is a large, slow carnivore and strong but allo was my choice and the sounds were awesome. my friend and i used to play allo everyday together before she passed away from cancer

@@XxVyladYTxXhmm… Im not sure honestly. I like a lot, but I think I’d say the Blueface skin, especially pattern 3. It mostly fits my color skin and fits allo really well, and can also be mediocre for camouflage when needed so its a good all-round skin.

Yeah his 3 call is still the chuff, I really hope they change it to an upgraded version of the old 3 call instead and make chuff either a 5 call (new call lol) or make it to where its not so annoying to deal with. I agree except I can’t get the same 3 call feeling using the charge bite so its even more annoying for me 🤣 his old 3 call was so underrated too tho

@@ALunaticWithAShotgun Ill be honest they should just make charge bite like it was back in 6.5 with the slide-thing, other than that idk how they can nerf him without people calling him weak lol. Honestly its not that he’s a good hunter, just that most people don’t know when to run away.

@@dtbrex08 A lot of the time yea it's mostly because people don't know when to run away, but there are other reasons for it aswell, like Cera can beat Carno because Carno's charge is kinda useless unless you are using it on someone who is sitting or afk because it takes time to activate and is very easy to dodge, combined with the cooldown and the stam usage half the time it's a mistake to use it at all. A big reason why Cera is so good is it's agility, yea it should be able to dodge some attacks but I think it can have a very small nerf in that regard because it's essentially a slower, much stronger Omni that can make you vomit.

@@ALunaticWithAShotgunyeah true, they could nerf the agility a little bit. Honestly carno is still really fun to play and a well timed ambush charge is deadly on small things but yeah they should make it less punishing. Honestly just make it 6.5 carno with some adjustments, like keep the stam it has now but lower the weight maximum for knocking things down so they can’t easy kill ceras and tenos (even though they were hard enough to kill imo)

Idk honestly, they just need to make it easier to use/aim imo. I get why it needs the attack so maybe it isnt stuck to the ground whdn using its attacks but its wayyy too hard to use right now. I do see it coming in handy when fighting a large allo pack or a rex or something though.

I’d say get it if your internet is good and you’re used to using a controller for dinosaur games, if you don’t like the quest system there are community servers to help with that. Otherwise though I’d say get it, unless you maybe wanna try an easier dino game then try Primal Carnage but otherwise yeah I’d say get it, its worth it. Its better on pc though.

@@RexBusterGaming I don’t know how I didn’t think of that lol I guess I was already in an alright position and didn’t wanna move honestly, and also I just don’t like camping at least as a stego, its just annoying and also I prefer to show mixpackers Im not afraid and fight instead of giving myself a huge advantage. Most of the time at least. But yes that dilo was absolutely trash lol and I STILL haven’t come across a decent dilo first-hand except for maybe myself if that counts lol… not trying to brag either. Dilo players either run around and dont attack or just try to facetank you. Its not even funny at this point because I wanna fight some 🤣

Oh yeah if I was an adult I probably could’ve won, the dilo would’ve died either way probably but the tenos were also older than me and thats why they did so much damage and were only stunned. However I probably would’ve died either way because my timing was meh on my part lol. The tenos played surprisingly well Ill be honest but I’ve yet to see a good dilo first hand and it was still really annoying to die that way lol. Didn’t reaaaally care tho cuz I just had this stego logged off at a younger age in a sanctuary and originally planned on playing something else anyways.

@@dtbrex08 guess it worked out then lol yea those tenos didn't play awful (they were smart enough to aim for your head) but the fact they felt the need to mixpack with the dilo is just sad. I mean I'm sure the dilo is their friend and they go around bullying other players so their dilo can get free meals, which makes it so hilarious that their dilo died so easily. No wonder the dilo needed to mixpack with tenos 🤣

@@WiFiDown37811 EXACTLY lol, its not the first time either. I’d tried after to play diablo, not really caring if I died or not, and ran into 2/3 MORE adult tenos in basically the same area as a fresh spawn essentially, and they killed me immediately, turns out they had a cerato to “feed” when I saw my body being eaten. Like, ok, your friends hungry, but… PLAY THE SAME CREATURE LOL and its not like fresh spawns even fill you up much past 1 tick of food anyways. Basically had the same thing happen a day before on the live branch with a baby dilo. Ended up dying to a teno and carno. It was late though on all 3 instances so I guess we can trust the saying: “The freaks come out at night.”

What's the fun in playing a carnivore if all your friends are gonna play as herbivores and kill everything for you? Isn't the whole point of playing as carnivores _killing your own prey to eat?_

I actually wanted to put this in the video but was too lazy to, but I’d actually met a juvi teno or two when I first got here and was still in my baby skin, just kinda walked around to see what they were doing, they were friendly too. Then soon I finally saw the dilos and them walk up to them, so I just kinda minded my own business and showed agression if the dilos got close, so it was clear I didn’t want to mixpack. Then after going back to the lake (I’d traveled through the canyon where the dilos were), one of the dilos started following me and that’s when I started recording. So either the tenos thought I was attacking the dilo, they both planned on just killing me for being “agressive”, or they just wanted to kill me in the first place and hid it.

Supposedly some of the raptors are in the comments saying they weren’t with them but if that was the case and I was the raptors I’d immediately try to get the hypsis out of the equation for giving us easy win mode. Because every time those annoying things spat in my face it was essentially going away from my pc for 7 seconds because I was blind and then locked into an animation.
