Yes, the bottle does say chameleon. I do believe the change was from green to gray on the base shade. The shimmer was so heavy that it was hard to see on the swatch card. I’m glad I swatched a bit on the copy paper. It was more evident there and in the water.

Yes, very intense shimmer. I think, since I come from the aquarelle and acrylic world, I link chameleon to sheen rather than shimmer but I'm learning more and more about the world of fountain pen ink. 😉

You are correct. They are the same except for academic dates. I think you made an excellent choice, but I’m not sure of your needs. Don’t forget about the half year and undated planners.

@MarcellHobbs well I definitely will be needing a weekly schedule and daily over look. I'm working full time and am doing 2 full of days of clinical. So basically 56 hour work week, along with school

This will help keep your schedule in focus. I do keep a separate A5 as a personal planner to document life events as well as scheduling. I use my daily pages for devotions.

I adore the comfortable weight/size of my Pelikan 200/400 family, Esterbrook Jr., and Preras, more than my Kaweco family, except for Liliput (love her) and my single Opus 88 mini. Of course, I always enjoy the pen in my hand at the current time. 😂🥰🖊️

💙 I was totally opposite with my BENUs. At first I loved all the bling and the Schmidt nibs ( 2 B and 2 M) but now I hardly reach for them. I still adore their beauty. I need to put them in my rotation more often. I strategically purchased one to match each season. I currently have my Spring color, Luminous Orchid, inked, but haven’t switched to my Summer color, Luminous Amber. I missed my Winter Briolette Milky Way and I have so many shimmer blue inks to use! Yes, there are phases of likes and dislikes that we go through.

Yes, that was my first thought as well. My January birthstone is garnet. I think it’s absolutely beautiful. ♥️

I have not had trouble cleaning the Narwhal or TWSBI pens with shimmer ink using water. As an extra measure if you ever experienced a stubborn ink, you could disassemble or use one flush. I have a newer video with a different Narwhal (Nahvular) where I did just that. Narwhal makes a great quality pen at an affordable price. My experience with their nibs has always been enjoyable. I hope you receive something soon! Remember, the colored pens do not come with a converter. If you plan to use one and do not have one already, you may want to order. While convenient, they are not necessary. Let be one if you need help flushing and filling a cartridge.

Yes, it is a fude (pronounced foo day) nib used to create special pen strokes in calligraphy lettering.

I have some journals in my wish list at Jet Pens, but will have to check out the Paper Tastings. The Rhodia paper is thick, but the finish seems drier. Tomoe River is thin, but has a better coating. If they could only marry and produce the perfect balance . 🤣

@@MarcellHobbs I feel the Rhodia runs like you are writing on carpet-not real smooth, I will bring some paper to the pen show and hopefully we will run into each other. I like onion paper, it is real thin, but fun to write on. Kokuyo Campus is smooth, but has a smooth coating on it. I have a variance of papers.

Yes, when I showed hubby he was wondering if it would grow in our area. I am in North Texas DFW area and we do get below 25-30 degrees in the winter. They are hearty in tropical areas like our Texas gulf, currently experiencing Hurricane Beryl.

Maybe it could work as a potted plant inside? I've seen a Jacaranda tree in a video from Australia so I guess it has to be quite warm even in the winter season.

It’s worth a try to plant some seeds and nurture some beauty.

Yes, the closest ink comparison I have on hand is Diamine Pink Champagne. I’m enthralled with the beauty of shimmer inks!

Not on the Prera. I do have Italian made pens, the Maiora and the Leonardo Momento Zeros that allow you to remove the blind cap. Great question!

@@MarcellHobbs Thank you for answering, it's rare for that to happen these days and I appreciate it so much! I ended up getting the Prera and a couple of Majohn A1 converter sets for $4.38 that have a slightly larger capacity than the con40, I LOVE the Prera, almost as much as the Sailor Tuzu.

Yes, I reviewed the Green 2022 Inkvent on my channel, experiencing the 24 small bottles and the large 25th bottle. I tried to explain my story in the first video, day 1, about my November 28th broken hand incident that prevented me from sharing my 2023 Inkvent. I don’t want to mention the reason for the delay in each video, but I thought a Christmas in July would be a fun way for me to experience the daily surprises. I did just go look at the script on the bottle and realize it does say Early Dusk instead of dark. I will own up on tomorrow’s video, giving you credit for helping me out. Yes, I was trying (in my mind) to compare it to Teranishi Opera Rose but I think that is more pinkish and, as you say, this ink seems more brick red. 🩷❤️
