That is so funny! I was at San Diego State University ‘73-‘74 and I remember saying we were “this close” to legalizing marijuana! Many, many decades later Colorado FINALLY legalized medical MJ before most of the other states. Now we can enjoy non-medical as well as magic mushrooms in certain areas of the state. Not sure if I need to go down THAT MUSHROOM road at my age! 😃 Thanks so much for wring this song with Glenn. A fabulous song, a great 2 hour Miami Vice movie that’s seems to have been highly influenced by this song! Glenn did a great acting job! I saw him tour with Fleetwood Mac after this solo album dropped. Dressed in a white suit just like the album cover. It was so much fun and I loved this different music. He had a fabulous voice, and the the sound was great. And for this 67 year old grandmother he was damn good looking to boot! You too must have a blast writing together! Jack, thanks for your music as well. I can’t imagine there are many people in this era of music that don’t know at least one of your songs since so many other artists recorded your songs! Thank you, thank you, thank you. BTW, I just watched “Smuggler’s Blues” last week!
