Bowing is mark of respect. They bow to the reserved host behind the altar which they believe is the real presence of christ

After she paid for the gown and all the extras, walking down the isle TWICE makes it all worth it! Her smile was beautiful and she was classy about going back. Also... I love how one of the couples bowed before the Lord and looked at each other before walking away. I thought it was a nice touch instead of just walking in the other direction without eye contact or a smile. The music was beautiful too! God bless their marriage and everyone who participated.
