Sadly this car is gone but whilst I had the car the bonnet struts where there for over 1 year and they was as good as ever, will be installing a new set on my MK4 soon

I cut the vinyl with stanly knife, be sure to replace the blade often

😂😂😂 just do the mods when wife is out and congrats on the car, what colour did you go for. Also my car came with seat sound which is really good and has some cracking base making the windows vibrate ahah. If you wanted to upgrade the sound system in your car you will need to take side door panels off, rewire the new system to the car and a few more things so it’s defo a process, I’ve never done it but had mates that have and you can find some videos online for the process.

@@DaickersVideos Thanks for the prompt reply man. Seen a few different vids. Some people put the lower bolt on different bolts at the bottom. And some people cut the plastic trim under the bonnet in the engine bay. Does the bonnet go up by itself once you release it under the bonnet, or do you have to guide it up?

Hey no, once you open it and unlock the clip of the bonnet, the struts hydraulics will automatically push the bonnet up on its own. @@haz_raf

😂😂😂 yes mate already learnt that lesson as I also had to do it to one wheel, got some new ones but they have rubber lining inside and got sprayed with WD40 this time.

​@@DaickersVideosno mate wd40 is water displacement 40 ... what you need is copper slip...its a anti seize lube.. you probably not a mechanic .. but honestly get a tube slap it in your box. Cost you maybe 2 quid... alternatively get a dremel so you can cut them off 😅

To be honest I’ve used Maxton also in my old car and quality seems exactly the same Maxton charge a lot also because they are a brand, is like buying crumpets at the shop, posh ones are like £2-£3 and value ones are like 70p but they taste and look the same 😂
